השגרירות הנוצרית הבינלאומית בירושלים (ICEJ) קיימה השבוע את אירועי הסוכות השנתיים שלה, עם תוכנית פעילויות שהקיפה את רחבי ישראל וחיברה בין אלפי עולי רגל דתיים מעשרות מדינות וממגוון רקעים. העובדה שהאירועים התקיימו בתקופה שבה ענף התיירות הישראלי עדיין נאבק להשתקם – ורבים עדיין מהססים להגיע לישראל – רק מדגישה את ההישג וממחישה את הידידות העמוקה ואת התמיכה מצד ה-ICEJ.

Yesterday, Sunday 27 September 2026, the Mayor of Jerusalem, Mr. Moshe and Mrs. Stavit Lion hosted an exclusive, small and elegant reception in the world's largest Sukkah located in Safra square, the location of Jerusalem's Municipality.
A Sukkah is a temporary outdoor booth or hut built and used during the week long Jewish harvest festival of Sukkot, serving as a reminder of the Jews 40 year exodus, spent wandering in the desert after escaping slavery in Egypt.

Una *Sucá* es una cabaña o refugio temporal al aire libre que se construye y utiliza durante *Sucot*, la festividad judía de la cosecha que dura una semana; sirve como recordatorio del éxodo de cuarenta años del pueblo judío, tiempo que pasaron vagando por el desierto tras salir de la esclavitud en Egipto.

The Tel Aviv Biennale of Crafts & Design 2026 is launching its final two incubators: "Craft x Tech" (Fashion and Technology) from the University of Haifa, and "Working Around the Table" (an open studio featuring Shenkar faculty).
The incubators will open at MUZA – Eretz Israel Museum, Tel Aviv.
On Thursday, September 24, MUZA will launch the final two incubators of the Tel Aviv Biennale of Crafts & Design 2026 ("Acts and Days"): "Craft x Tech"—an exhibition showcasing works by students from the Department of Fashion Design at the University of Haifa—and "Working Around the Table," an incubator featuring faculty from Shenkar – Engineering. Design. Art., operating as an open studio. Both exhibitions will be displayed in the Tower Gallery.
La Bienal de Arte y Diseño de Tel Aviv 2026 inaugura sus dos últimas incubadoras: «Moda y Tecnología: Artesanía y Tecnología» de la Universidad de Haifa, y «Trabajadores en la Mesa: Un Estudio Abierto del Shenkar ". Las incubadoras abrirán sus puertas en el Muza, el Museo de la Tierra de Israel, en Tel Aviv. ביום רביעי בערב, ה-16 בספטמבר 2026, אירחו שגריר צ'ילה בישראל , מר גבריאל זליאסניק, ורעייתו גב' אליזבת מג'ליס, קבלת פנים במרכז פרס לשלום ולחדשנות ביפו, לכבוד היום הלאומי של צ'ילה.
צ'ילה וישראל חידשו את היחסים הדיפלומטיים המלאים בדרג שגריר תחת כהונתו של הנשיא חוסה אנטוניו קאסט, ובכך שמו קץ לתקופה של מתיחות דיפלומטית עמוקה שאפיינה את ממשלו הקודם של גבריאל בוריץ'. לפני חודשים ספורים, הנשיא המכהן הביא לסיומה תקופה של כמעט שלוש שנים שבהן המשרה לא אוישה, ומינה את מר גבריאל זליאסניק לשגריר צ'ילה.

Chile and Israel have restored full ambassadorial relations under President Jose Antonio Kast, reversing a period of deep diplomatic friction during the prior administration of Gabraiel Boric. A few months ago the incumbent President ended a nearly three year ambassadorial vacancy by appointing H.E. Mr. Gabriel Zaliasnik as Chile's ambassador.

After staging over 500 performances and drawing more than 500,000 audience members in its inaugural year, toMix is raising the bar with an expansive new repertoire.
"Billy Schwartz" returns to the stage starring Eliana Tidhar and Tali Oren; Eshkol Nevo’s "Three Floors Up" (*Mishala Achat Yemina*) gets a stage adaptation; the "Golden Ticket" is coming to Israel with "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory"; Hanna Laslo stars in "What Do We Do with Jenny?"; Shlomo Baraba and Rona-Lee Shimon appear in Amnon Levy’s "Mordot" (Slopes); alongside new productions featuring Maya Dagan, Uri Gottlieb, Nicky Goldstein, Idan Alterman, Gilat Ankori, Dov Navon, and other artists.
Just one year after launching as a new theatre in Israel, toMix Theatre concludes its first year of operations with over 500 performances and more than 500,000 viewers nationwide. ביום חמישי, 10 בספטמבר 2026, אירחו שגרירי הרפובליקות של מרכז אמריקה - מר אנטוניו לופז אסקרה, שגריר הרפובליקה של קוסטה ריקה; גב' אווה עצום ארוואלו דה מוסקוסו, שגרירת הרפובליקה של גואטמלה; ומר חוסה לואיס נונייז בנט, שגריר הרפובליקה של הונדורס - קבלת פנים בלובי של בניין המגדל במלחה, ירושלים, אתר שגרירות גואטמלה.

בערב יום רביעי, 2 בספטמבר 2026, אירח שגריר הרפובליקה הסוציאליסטית של וייטנאם במדינת ישראל, ד"ר נגוין קי-סון וגברתי, את קבלת הפנים ליום העצמאות ה-81 במרכז עינב של עיריית תל אביב.
האולם קושט בדגלי וייטנאם, ומשתתפים וייטנאמים רבים לבשו בגדים מסורתיים מהודרים. על הבמה הוכן שולחן עם עוגה חגיגית לטקס החיתוך.
אוכל וייטנאמי מסורתי (אגרולים טעימים עם עוף, תבשיל בקר וייטנאמי, מולדלס מוקפצים) ומגשי פירות טריים, אגוזים וממתקים, ובר המציע יין ומשקאות קלים.

On the evening of Wednesday, September 2nd 2026, the Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam to the State of Israel, H.E. Dr. Nguyen Ky-Son and Madam, hosted the 81st Independence Day reception at Tel Aviv Municipality's Einav Center.
The hall was decorated with Vietnamese flags, and many Vietnamese attendants were dressed in exquisite traditional clothes. On the stage, a table with celebratory cake was prepared for the ceremonial cutting.
Traditional Vietnamese food ( delicious Chicken spring rolls, Vietnamese beef stew Stir fried moodles ) and fresh fruit platters, nuts and sweets were served and a bar offering wine and soft beverages.
