Another of my favourite kind of deliveries….Free series editor book delivery! And this one’s a doozie…the rather fabulous Ray Bradbury Companion put together by the equally fabulous Kevin Wetmore! Check it out below.

And if you have an idea for a Companion around Genre Fiction and Film drop me a line at: baconetti@gmail.com by @simon.bacon.90

Aca-Serial-Killer-Colleagues

A colleague of mine has a Companion on Serial Killers coming to deadline and needs some emergency short essays (2,500-3,000 words) on the following:

• Cinema, psychopathy, and social commentary
• Indian true crime cinema, and
• Celebrity serial killers, myth-making, and cinema portrayals, such as:
-Denise Mina’s The Long Drop
-James Ellroy’s The Black Dahlia
-Emma Cline’s The Girls
-Jeff Lindsay’s Dexter series
-Joyce Carol Oates’s Zombie

In the first instance contact or send a 250 word abstract to Dr Charlotte Barnes: c.barnes@worc.ac.uk.

Hi Folks…need your help.

Got a book with Routledge on “Global Vampires and National Identity” and their usual range of less-than-exciting cover choices. I’ve picked 4 that “zinged” when I looked at them, but which one do you like? (Use the number at the top of each image) by @simon.bacon.90
