Why put yourself through that? 🤔👇

Skiing down couloirs on 45° slopes is already quite the adrenaline rush. But doing it telemark-style, with your heel completely free, takes it to a whole new level. 🏔️ ✨
This technique demands twice the thigh strength, perfect balance and, above all, you absolutely cannot afford to make a mistake. ❌

So why do it?

Because the feeling of gliding through a crouched turn is simply indescribable. It makes every run unique. 🔥

Let me know in the comments: would you be up for letting your heel go free, or do you prefer the safety of classic alpine skiing? Alpine ⛷️ or Telemark 🛸?📊

Save this Reel for your next dose of inspiration and subscribe to keep up with the latest couloir openings!

🚨no fall zone!!
A steep and narrow couloir. You fall you take to much speed and go into the wall.
Direction 👉ocean 🌊

Every good experiences have reason.
Effort, knowledges, leave the comfort zone, …
This year I will continue this way with @alpride_airbag
Perfect gear to offer more safety if I make mistake, but never forgot that is not an 100% backup. Mountain is bigger and stronger than us.

Who like to have a tuesday morning like that?
Between clouds, nice friends 🐐 and fun easy ridge.

I went for a walk, and it went as an approx 20km run.

This landscape, ephemeral and beautiful.
Our tracks are merely a brushstroke in it, one that will also fade away.
Dreams, memories, … What will be permanent or ephemeral?

Extrem good feeling; and one of my best day from last season. Full day out, doing laps in this area under a beautiful sky and in very good snow condition: stable and powder.
Do we will have days like this next season? What do you guess?
