A new home for my work.
I’ve just launched my new website, bringing together my latest paintings, ongoing projects and the landscape that continues to shape what I make.
My work is rooted in West Cornwall, its coast, light, colour, texture and the constant tension between land, sea and human presence.

Hello to all you lovely people!
A little update… another piece ready for a small show @gurnardshead in October artistofthemonth . All of these works have been made within the last 18 months or so. Reflections of life.. maybe?!? Or just the cinematic elements of the story that each day brings. Nature in its finest moments. It’s just my take on that. I paint, I teach, I try my best every day. This is one of those moments, I hope you enjoy it.

I’m back at the college for the start of another new term, new students, new chaos. I’ve come home and have been painting edges on a few pieces. It’s not my favorite part of the process but sometimes it’s the simple things that bring the calm and clarity to the day.

Here’s a few small paintings from my recent musings, working title for the collection is…‘sounds of summer’.
I’ve been observing the world around me as spring turned into summer. The colours in the Cornish hedges, the sunrises and sunsets and the awe inspiring West Penwith coastal landscape.
These are my reflections of the natural beauty in this most wonderful part of the world.
