Sep 26th - Exactly 10 years ago today. My first day at acting school. In the photo: my amazing acting class.
I had just turned 30, and very few of my musician friends understood why I was going back to school to study acting. To be honest, I didn’t really understand it myself either. I just knew I wanted to be an actor. Maybe there was another way to do it, but mine was through the ADK Baden-Wuerttemberg. Thank you Ariana, Sarah, Kim, Silva, Arne, Lily, Johnny, Joao, Luzia und Flo for the wonderful time.

During my last visit to London, I had the chance to train with @ty_hopkins_ from @darkroc_ . I had met Ty on the set of MUTINY. It was my very first weapons training. As an actor, I was very interested in getting a feel for how I could translate these unfamiliar movements with a weapon into natural movements so I could use them for different roles - essentially making them my own. Making it look “natural” is often easier said than done 😅
It was a very intense training session, and Ty is an absolutely outstanding coach who knows how to break down and teach these often very complex sequences.
Thank you, Ty and Dark Roc. I learned a lot! 🙏
