Baby Corn is over his jetlag, but he has some big words about us going to Versailles without him. He wanted to see his kingdom.

Lucky to be able to do this with my parents and that Baby Corn is able to join us.

My parents didn't get to do a lot of things for themselves when they were younger. Between raising 4 kids and running a small store, they didn't have the time, money, or ability to take time off or go on trips. If they didn't open the store, they didn't make money so they worked 362 days a year. Because they sacrificed so much, our lives are richer.

When I first met Simon Tung, I thought my parents would never get a chance to retire. I was so sure it wasn't in the cards for them and I felt a lot of guilt for opening my own small business, knowing that we were likely signing up for the same fate my parents had and that we would never be able to help them retire. I was wrong.

My parents retired 7 years ago. They have been spending their retirement peacefully watching k-dramas and making cat beds. Simon and I been taking them on trips for the past 5 years and showing them all the things they thought they would never get to see for themselves. Our lives aren't perfect, but knowing we can do something for the people who gave us everything makes me so happy.

People have said that Baby Corn's first love is the phone so I asked my BIL to hold it for us.

Baby Corn helped stock up our local community center with back to school supplies. Thank you to everyone who made recommendations! Your insight was very helpful because it's been a while since we were in school.

I was curious to see if Baby Corn would let us put a camera on him and he really had no objections. We strapped it to his collar and it swung quite a bit more than he does, but I got to see the world (and grass) from his perspective.
P.S. He does pick @simon_t sometimes
