Nice to meet you.

My name is Simon, as you could tell from the photo.
I’ve wanted to introduce myself. Since I was 12 I loved to have a camera in my Hands. I remember using the old #Nikon D90 from my dad.

I saved everything that I could to buy my own camera and photograph my passion. Wildlife photography.
My first big project was photographing the beautiful #kingfisher. Hours went by while waiting near the river to see that beautiful bird.

After I started my studies in environmental engineering 4 years ago I didn’t find the time to go out and shoot as often as l used to.

That’s why I decided to start this Instagram page.
Having it as a project and growing with it and with you.

Sometimes you have to take some time and just get out there!
.
Photographing wildlife is mainly about three things.
.
1. Knowing you subject. How does it behave? Where does it live etc.?
.
2. Being comftable woth your equipment. It doesn‘t have to be the most expensive gear, bit you have to know it that when a moment occurs you‘re ready to push the trigger.
.
3. Patience. This is probably the most important part. Often wildlife photography is just a waiting game.

Sometimes the spark for photography isn‘t as vibrant as it is most of the time🔥

But whe looking back at old photos, I‘m reminded by the old times. The moments that brought me joy, laughter and love.☺️ Reminding me just to get my camera and go out there.

Some people would be nostalgic and say, ahh in the old times it was so much better. But I say there‘s so much more joy to be found in the world, so let‘s go out there and find it.

As soon as I came back from the amazing trip to norway, my head just said: „I wanna go back“.

Living in a highly populated area you just don‘t get the same feeling you get when you see such beautiful landscapes.
.
Therfore I want to challenge you to visit nature more often! But don‘t forget to respect it. Pick up litter, even if it‘s not from you and let nature be nature.

Nyhavn in Copenhagen instantly became one of my favorite spots in the city. The colorful houses lined up along the water create such a lively and welcoming atmosphere. Walking through the district and taking in the mix of history and architecture was unforgettable. Copenhagen truly is a city that combines charm and design in the best way.

Visiting the Elbphilharmonie last year was one of my highlights in Hamburg. The architecture itself is impressive but what really stayed with me was the view from the top. Watching the sun set over the city and the harbor felt like the whole place slowed down for a moment. A spot I would recommend to anyone traveling there.

On the dunes of southwest Denmark I came across this small hut, standing quietly among the windswept grass. The way the blades bent in the strong breeze gave the scene a sense of constant movement, even in stillness. Capturing it in black and white made it feel even more timeless and simple, like a glimpse into a quiet coastal life.

Cala Figuera on Mallorca is one of those small towns that feels timeless. Walking through its narrow streets you often come across quiet corners like this stair, surrounded by whitewashed houses and flowers. The town has a long history as a traditional fishing village and you can still see the small boats in the harbor that carry on that tradition today. It’s a place where life moves slowly and every corner tells a story.

Standing on a stone pier stretching into the North Sea was an experience full of raw nature. The waves kept crashing against the rocks and the wind was so strong that wearing a hat was impossible. It was one of those places where you really feel the power of the sea and how small we are compared to it. Denmark’s coastline is wild and beautiful in its own way.
