From Czechoslovakia to the childhoods of millions of children around the world. 🌎💫

🎬We had the pleasure of filming Czech illustrator @alexbrychtacreative ✏️, whose drawings helped 30 million children learn to read 📚, for our documentary Portraits of Slovak & Czech Britain.

🧳 He came to Britain after the 1968 invasion of Czechoslovakia, barely speaking English. 🖌️ Drawing became his language — and eventually, his characters Biff, Chip, Kipper and Floppy became part of childhoods across the world.

✨Discover more of Alex’s story.
🎬 Documentary premiere coming on the 4th of November.
