Awesome to finish the IMA season with a win at the prestigious Edmond de Rothschild regatta at the teams spiritual home of Saint Tropez. Always a pleasure sailing with the Jethou lads. @les_voiles_de_saint_tropez taken in Saint-Tropez by @simonvanvelthooven

A year ago we raised the America’s Cup once more and it feels like the perfect moment to reflect how incredibly fortunate I have been to live out two sporting dreams; representing New Zealand on the Olympic stage and winning a medal in London 2012 at age 23, and then contributing to three history-making America’s Cup campaigns. Both experiences pushed me beyond what I thought possible and I’m grateful for every challenge, lesson, and teammate along the way. It now feels like the right time to close this chapter, stepping away from professional sport and exploring what comes next. I’m excited to focus on my family and new challenges ahead beyond competition while remaining a lifelong supporter of the black boat. by @simonvanvelthooven

Been an awesome ride here in Barcelona. Stoked with the 3-Peat thanks to an amazing relentless hardworking team, also to Olivia for raising 3 babies in a foreign city while I was out on the water all day. Bring on AC38! taken in Barcelona, Spain by @simonvanvelthooven
