From the MAMP vault: apparently we’ve ALWAYS been wicked. 😈

Long before Something Wicked This Way Comes, the Miss Adams Morgan stage gave us this gloriously unhinged take on Maleficent from 2018.

A curse. 🪄
Fairies. 🧚
A sleeping beauty. 👸

True love’s kiss. 💋

And naturally… drag queens making absolutely everything more complicated.

Watch the full throwback now on YouTube — and then come see what kind of wickedness we have planned for 2026.

🌈 Happy National Coming Out Day! 🌈

Coming out isn’t just one moment. It’s choosing, again and again, to live out loud, take up space, find your people — and celebrate exactly who you are. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

For 38 years, the Miss Adams Morgan Pageant has been doing just that: bringing our community together for a night that is outrageous, ridiculous, glamorous, hilarious and unapologetically QUEER.

So today, we celebrate everyone who is out, everyone still finding their way, and everyone who helped create spaces where we can show up proudly as ourselves.

And if you want to see a whole LOT more pride… come to the show. 🏳️‍🌈👑

Come check in at the @washingtonhilton with me for a night you’ll never forget! Tickets still available for the 38th #missadamsmorganpageant — just shoot me a message, and I’ll fill your inbox with treats (and maybe a trick or two). And it’s not just for the campy fun of it all (although there will be plenty of that). We’re raising funds for @whitmanwalker this year!

Whatever happened to Mel and Di? 👀

Decades of friendship. Decades of pageantry. A wheelchair. A suspicious dinner. And some feelings that apparently were never fully resolved.

The first and second Miss Adams Morgans, our founders, take us back to classic Hollywood horror, with a distinctly Miss Adams Morgan twist. 🎬👑

The full film is NOW PLAYING on YouTube.

And remember, ladies: after 38 years of MAMP, old rivalries never die. They just get better lighting.

Get tickets to this year's show!
