We already KNOW you’re coming to the #missadamsmorganpageant on Halloween. But what are you doing after the new Queen is crowned? You’re going to @herdinerdc for the official after-party, of course! Pull up a barstool or hop on the dance floor — whatever you do, just keep the party going! The Queen demands it!

Class is in session. 📚🍎

In 2014, Barbara Anne Bushwacker took us inside The Best Little Schoolhouse in Texas.

A respectable institution.

Fine Southern ladies.

A quality education…
…allegedly.

And somehow, there are cowboys involved. 🤠

Watch the full film now on YouTube — and then get ready for a whole new class of chaos at the 38th Annual Miss Adams Morgan Pageant on October 31.

From the MAMP vault: apparently we’ve ALWAYS been wicked. 😈

Long before Something Wicked This Way Comes, the Miss Adams Morgan stage gave us this gloriously unhinged take on Maleficent from 2018.

A curse. 🪄
Fairies. 🧚
A sleeping beauty. 👸

True love’s kiss. 💋

And naturally… drag queens making absolutely everything more complicated.

Watch the full throwback now on YouTube — and then come see what kind of wickedness we have planned for 2026.

🌈 Happy National Coming Out Day! 🌈

Coming out isn’t just one moment. It’s choosing, again and again, to live out loud, take up space, find your people — and celebrate exactly who you are. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

For 38 years, the Miss Adams Morgan Pageant has been doing just that: bringing our community together for a night that is outrageous, ridiculous, glamorous, hilarious and unapologetically QUEER.

So today, we celebrate everyone who is out, everyone still finding their way, and everyone who helped create spaces where we can show up proudly as ourselves.

And if you want to see a whole LOT more pride… come to the show. 🏳️‍🌈👑

Whatever happened to Mel and Di? 👀

Decades of friendship. Decades of pageantry. A wheelchair. A suspicious dinner. And some feelings that apparently were never fully resolved.

The first and second Miss Adams Morgans, our founders, take us back to classic Hollywood horror, with a distinctly Miss Adams Morgan twist. 🎬👑

The full film is NOW PLAYING on YouTube.

And remember, ladies: after 38 years of MAMP, old rivalries never die. They just get better lighting.

Get tickets to this year's show!

✨ **Once Upon a Runway…** ✨

In 2022, the Miss Adams Morgan Pageant served **fashion, fantasy and fierce competition** with a theme made for the spotlight: **“Once Upon a Runway.”** 👠💃✨

From over-the-top looks to unforgettable performances, the Ladies of the Dupont Social Club proved once again that when fashion meets camp, **anything can happen on the Miss Adams Morgan stage.**

Four years later, we’re still serving looks — and getting ready to write the next chapter.

Happy Labor Day from the Dupont Social Club! 🇺🇸💋

For decades, the Miss Adams Morgan Pageant has honored America’s working women the only way we know how: **with bigger hair, higher heels, questionable workplace safety standards, and absolutely no HR department.** 😂

From maids and construction crews to service workers and every hard-working diva in between, tonight we salute the ladies who punch the clock, work the room, and still find time for a costume change.

Here’s to **labor, glamour, and making overtime look fabulous.** 👠🔨🧹
