“& that is a Women Over Dinner.” 💫

Last night was nothing short of magical. From the ambiance, to the speakers, to the beautifully dressed men and women who came out to support such an important cause—human flourishing.

@womenoverdinner is a non-profit organization whose mission is to activate and celebrate the power of women. Last nights Gala focused on fundraising to host the heartwarming and liberating experience that’s hosted here in Harlem monthly. Women sitting around a table in solidarity, holding space for each other’s humanity.

To be able to offer that to women who are in the in the carceral system—a moment of peace, solidarity and nourishing means so much to them. Many of them who haven’t sat and had a dining experience of this magnitude in so long.

Such a beautiful bride 🥹🕊️💫

Such a beautiful moment! So glad I got to witness and experience it with everyone 🫶🏾

I met @jasmineorlandisss in 2013 through her momma, back when we were Titanium Rockets [🤭] working at Spectrum. The sweetest little soul and voice became my little sister and now she’s a wife and soon to be mommy.

Her mom has been such a pertinent part of my adulthood. Meeting her at just 22, having her mentorship and maternal guidance has been so important to me.

So many of us are trying to find a way forward before we uncover who we are.

Before we learn to honor our 𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘲𝘶𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴…
the things that make us different — the things that make us, 𝘶𝘴.

Fighting against our nature, comparing ourselves to others when who we are is exactly who we need to be — to get where we want to be.

Human Design doesn’t remove the work, it just makes the work make sense.

For years I thought my career was a collection of unrelated experiences.

Teacher. Hairstylist. Corporate Enablement. Advisor.

Then I stopped looking at my titles and started looking at the people I was supporting in those spaces.

That’s when I discovered my throughline…
