Friends, life is intense. But God is good.

He’s been asking me to trust Him, again.

Today we had a convo. A real one. And in the end I apologized for blaming Him for the areas in life where I’m disappointed and scared. And He replied, “You don’t have to be afraid. Im here and I’m with you.”

So, I’ll continue to trust.

The good news is that His strength is made perfect in my weakness. And he’s making old things new again. Literally! Example? I’m playing music again! 🎻🎻🥲

Okay. That’s enough rambling for one post.

The day I moved someone asked me if I felt excited when the plane landed, and i answered that I actually really felt nothing at all. (I’m guessing this was due to my pure exhaustion by that point).
•
So I’m v happy to announce that the big feels are back! lol. And there’s a constant stream of coffee + beach-ing to help me process them.
•
The last few weeks have included my heart rate returning to normal, twice daily beach sits/walks, sleeping 8+hrs a night, crying a little thinking ab missing my fam, soaking in sunshine, way less weightlifting than planned, actually getting to pour my heart/time into my *gift* of a job, some bike riding, walks w a friend (I have one!) and overall coming terms with the fact that I made a big move that changed so much of my day to day life, and yet changed essentially nothing about myself, who I am, and what I’m here to do.
•
So here’s to figuring out how a Chicago girl copes with no fall weather and a body of water that’s always salty. Wish me luck. ✨✨ by @simplynoelle

Big news 📣 Last week, I moved away from Chicago and took a flight to California (hello again old friend!). ✨

I have a lot of feelings, but not many words. I do know it’s good and right and sad all in one. 💙 Chicago, I love you.

Thank you to everyone who has hugged me during this process. I consider myself insanely blessed to be surrounded by so much love ✨ I’ll definitely bring ya’ll along for the journey. Stay tuned. Xoxo by @simplynoelle

It’s never really been about weightlifting.

It’s always been about building trust with myself.

About redeeming the years I was at war with myself mentally, and emotionally, and even physically.

It’s about the years when my brain had failed me - now having spacial awareness & coordination as my greatest skill set.

It’s about showing up to train in an environment where not only is my internal strength accepted, it’s demanded and even respected.

It’s about the moment when I step onto the platform, and I already have it all. I’ve already won.

For a mid-level weightlifter in her late 20s, there’s nothing to qualify for. But there’s everything to gain.

And it’s not really about weightlifting.

These are the numbers I told @dave.ester I wanted to lift when I joined forza. Mission accomplished.

Im really proud of myself and my focus today. No second-guessing. Just lifting.

Thank you thank you @forzaweightlifting @dave.ester @mgattone64 for everything. Truly 💙
