I love being able to trust that every product here is good for me and the environment! 🌈💕♻️

I’ve always seen shops like this in major cities and hoped for one local. Loveland answered that wish! Perfect one-stop-shop come Christmas time for your crunchy friends! 🌟

Have you tried to be more eco-friendly and clean with your products? Tell us how!

Well friends, last night our shop was broken into and our goods stolen. It's not my first time being robbed, but nevertheless, it has me feeling pretty yucky today. I'm not even upset about the goods that were taken (not that much) and actually surprised by how untouched the shop looked when I arrived this morning. But man, it never feels good to be woken up at 1:30a by your security co telling you someone is taking goods at your shop. Watching the footage back is even more unsettling.

Over the last week, I've seen a number of my fellow small biz owners navigating similar experiences and from conversations with other shops it feels like this circumstance was never a story of "if" but "when" — knowing that makes me sad.

Sad for the individuals experiencing the circumstances in life that provoke this kind of desperate act. Sad for the small business owners who've invested so much into their dream, only to have pick up the pieces (literally), rise up and keep putting one foot in front of the other — for themselves, their teams and the communities they serve.

Through all of this, I'm grateful for so many things:
✖️ That no one — my team and the individual — was hurt
✖️ For the kind and timely response of the police and investigators
✖️ For the minimal damages incurred
✖️ For quick and easy access to services like locksmiths and security services
✖️ For the privilege of being here, building a community in my hometown

This story, as heartbreaking as it is, is not rare and often untold by the small business owners living them...I know so many of us are riding this rollercoaster. So please, show your local, small businesses some love — we appreciate your support so much more than you probably know.

Our shop is back open, we're slowly getting our good spirits back and can't wait to see you again this week ☀️ Much love, Rach 💛 by @simplyzero_

It’s pretty spectacular that we live on a planet where a boiling cup of water can turn into a magical ice rainbow 🌈 It may be cold out there, but it’s days like this that make us feel the most alive ✨ Shop is OPEN today 11-7p! And if you don’t want to brave the cold, remember you can always order online, choose local pickup, and we’ll have your order ready within the hour! #simplyfortheplanet by @simplyzero_

TWO YEARS ✨

Two years ago something amazing happened — I opened the doors to our very first storefront in my hometown of Cincinnati, OH. It's been one of the great adventures (and challenges!) that I've ever experienced and I couldn't be more grateful.

When I first started Simply Zero — I started it for me. It was a way for me to document my journey to create less waste. Eventually, my journey became OUR journey as all of you came along for the ride. Together, we continued to learn, grow and challenge on another to do better by Mama Earth. Somewhere along the way, I began to dream about opening up a brick & mortar store.

I wanted to create a space filled with carefully curated goods, everyday zero waste solutions and to be a resource for others looking to make mindful changes in their life. It's hard to believe it's already been TWO years of that dream coming to life.

Two years of bulk bar refills, sustainable gift giving, training shop educators, shipping out zero waste orders, curating new products, designing OUR OWN products, market tours and so much more. When I look around the shop, I'm so proud of what we've created over the last two years.

To celebrate, we're gifting all weekend long with ANY purchase -- stock up on sustainable gifts and take home some of our best selling deo, tooth tabs, serums and more! Cheers to year two and all of the years to come! x Rach by @simplyzero_

Hey, it's Rach — I know I've been quiet over here for the better part of the year, but I can think of no better reason to chime in than to share my gratitude for YOU. This journey of small business ownership is a rollercoaster, but at the end of the day it's you all that make it all worth a damn. Thank you for your support, your loyalty, your curiosity, and most of all your commitment towards cultivating a more sustainable, low waste, fulfilling lifestyle...simply for the planet.

In the spirit of gratitude, we're kicking off our annual gratitude event tonight at midnight with 20% off online and in-store (no code necessary). Come say hi in the shop, support small, and keep us doing our happy dances all weekend long ☺️

Wishing you and all your loved ones a Happy Thanksgiving! by @simplyzero_
