Recently painted the entrance to this incredible church which is now a home with a couple of Airbnb units up front. We colour drenched the space in Benjamin Moore’s Mascarpone—light, warm, and inviting—but with all the unique angles, shadows, and natural lighting, you can hardly tell it’s all the same colour, especially on the ceiling. A perfect blend of historic charm and contemporary design.

Another room in the same house as the previous post. This one was done last year, before they decided to sell; hence the accent wall. taken in Alta Vista by @simpsonpropainting

Super fun and creative project from a couple weeks back, out west of Ottawa in the Burnstown hills.
@lennykuiper came up with the concept renderings and @terramor_dana saw the vision and went for it.

A fun one from a couple weeks go. The hanging pendant lights came with the house and the blue colour drenching makes them stand out while being cohesive to the overall vibe.
The colour is Midahip Blue from Glidden, matched for Benjamin Moore Regal in the ulti-matte finish which is the flatest finish in the Benjamin Moore line of paints. taken in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada by @simpsonpropainting

Level 5 Finish, anyone? Original paint crew botched the job so we're in to give a full skim on the walls to get rid of the orange peel texture, and recoat in the same colour with proper technique. Ceiling is smooth but streaky so we need to apply a uniform finish. Trim will be touched up as needed and if possible. May have to paint out the trim too if the touch ups don't blend.
In defense to the original paint crew, dark colours are the most difficult to work with. But this is what happens when you send mid-tier painters to a multi-million dollar custom new build. There's months of work to restore this house that's less than two years old. by @simpsonpropainting

Another fun one! Colour selection by the talented @alter.thestudio for a therapist's office in downtown Ottawa. Looking forward to painting with more greens in the near future 🌱 taken in Centretown by @simpsonpropainting

Fortune favours the bold colours! The client had a vision and went for it, transforming a beige office into a lively master piece. Cherry Brandy is the colour on the walls with a forest green in the closet-turned-DJ booth. The art and decor really pops, and Fonz the cat approves 👌

No higher stakes than cutting around wooden trim that isn't getting painted. Previous paint job was done before trim was installed, so there was no option to blame a mistake on "the last guys". Needless to say, we were perfect 👌😎 taken in Ottawa, Ontario by @simpsonpropainting

A finished project from a few weeks back, completed with the help of @choppamatic & son 🙏. Basement was a full reno, turning a 2 bed 2 bath into a 3 bed 3 bath. Main floor and top area were just getting a repaint.

We used Dulux paint because the client had already bought a lot of it. First time using it in over 10 years and it was actually pretty nice to work with and the finish came out great. taken in The Glebe by @simpsonpropainting
