what withers is not always something to mourn 🥀

I’ve found that not everything beautiful is meant to last… some things arrive just long enough to change us. Some things have to wither before we understand what they gave. And some things we love are only meant to belong to a particular version of us. I don’t find this to be a tragedy, I think that’s just the nature of becoming.

how many photos are sitting in your camera roll because they’re “not good enough”? // witching hour confession: I take an embarrassingly long time to post things—not because I don’t have the content, but because I can overthink and over-criticize almost every creative decision I make. Maybe it’s an artist thing. Maybe it’s just a me thing 😂

Either way, I’m trying to get better at remembering that a photograph doesn’t have to be perfect to be worth keeping, sharing, or simply loving.

I think that’s one of the clearest ways to know who genuinely loves you: they don’t need you to be struggling in order to show up.

I don’t always want my photographs to show you what I saw. Sometimes I want them to show you how it felt.

This is a little glimpse into the kind of photography I’ve been drawn to lately—where the photograph is only the beginning, and editing becomes another part of the storytelling.

It won’t be everyone’s taste—and that’s okay. I’m just having a lot of fun exploring the space between documenting something and interpreting it.

I saw the flowers as we were passing them and photographed them in motion instead of trying to stop the moment and make it technically perfect. Sometimes movement tells the story better than focus does.

𓂃 ࣪˖ ִֶָ𐀔 I wanted this frame to feel almost found rather than photographed—soft, imperfect, a little mysterious. And the butterfly flying through the frame in the middle of all that blur felt like enough of a reason to keep it.
