A Journey 🤍

What started as enjoying weddings, supporting fairytales and standing by my best friends on their wedding days… has blossomed into so much more.…
sometimes I get caught up; but, I’d like to think my inner child is thriving && it’s true, fairytales are very much real… I would know, I’m at the altar these days & it’s a whirlwind.

Today we celebrate 4 years of marriage❤️! We are feeling EXTRA sentimental and reflecting on everything we’ve gone through, big and small, over the last four years (it’s been a wild ride😅).

Five years ago we started our financial independence journey & would watch tv, read a books and listen to ALOT of podcasts as a way to get inspired. Today we still get inspiration from all of that BUT, now we get to sometimes be on TV, podcasts & yes, even books (🤫🤐). We are humbled & grateful by what we have been able to accomplish but also know it’s a marathon and we have so much more to do 😂.

We don’t subscribe to the whole- “you complete me” idea. We are both complete and whole as individuals. But together?! We push each other to be a better version of ourselves than either of us could have ever imagined.

Our marriage has been filled with amazing adventure, tons of challenge and obstacles, two and a half years of infertility and hours of therapy 😂. And at the center of it all, it always comes back to US. Because if we are not solid? Everything else in the world gets that much harder. So even on days when we may not like each other (the married couples get it 😜), we love, respect and choose each other ♥️.

And to wrap up this sappy post- thank you everyone for your support. You help us be better and we wouldn’t have this amazing community without you!
