They showed up. They threw down. They left it all out on the field. 🔥

The athletes of the TTG Skirmish are everyday ordinary people who choose to do extraordinary things.

No shortcuts. No excuses. Just grit, heart, and the willingness to see what they’re capable of. 💪

Extraordinary effort

@bearrett_saffel and @barry_johnsonjr are cousins and first time competitors at @ttg.skirmish.dfw.

They showed up and showed out and got humbled. The most important lesson out of this was they didn’t quit and they are ready for more. They will take the lessons learned from this match and come back better at the next one.

Give it up to these fellas!

Don’t be afraid to take that first step into doing something new! Everybody was a first timer! taken in TDSA Range by @sing_chay

@ttg.skirmish.dfw athlete @jeffro_5 may be retired from work but he ain’t retired from life!

He is a regular competitor and brings it every time!

May we all be able to do at least half of what he can do when we get to his age.

They say marriage is a marathon, not a sprint. But nobody mentioned anything about going through a @ttg.skirmish.dfw Team Event with a gun belt and plate carrier.

@phillipfinzer and @alainaferrallfinzer teamed up for The Tactical Games Skirmish Team Event, proving that true love is surviving a grueling physical stage together without a single disagreement.

Alaina handled the pressure like a pro, claiming her strategy is to “just follow along.” Meanwhile, Phil’s strategy for the stage was to “go hard, don’t suck.”

Forget candlelit dinners. Real romance is watching your spouse muscle past the point of exhaustion and still hitting those targets.

Relationship status: Still married, still tactical, and having a blast doing it together.

Nothing compares to a @concept2inc strength erg stage at the @ttg.skirmish.dfw team event at @tdsa_18a.

90 seconds left press followed by 90 seconds chest press.

Each teammate picks their poison and neither poison is better than the other. They both will smoke you.

Everyone cheered everyone on. And most importantly, everyone kept each other from quitting. There’s always one more rep in the tank.

The @ttg.skirmish.dfw hosted the first team event at @tdsa_18a in Ferris, TX.

When it comes to teams, it’s not surprising to see @ginttu and @lexiehogge pair up. They are known for their shenanigans at the gym, dressing up as Harry and Lloyd from Dumb and Dumber.

This team event was different. They were both there but both were not each other’s teammates.

The crew caught up to them to find out why. by @sing_chay

If I’m not mistaken, the first ever team event since @ttg.skirmish launched was hosted by @ttg.skirmish.dfw at @tdsa_18a in Ferris, TX.

My partner @jake_fwtx and I secured a second place finish in the Masters division up against good competition. We had a great time fitnessing and shooting.

Dry fire pays off. @ttg.training

Huge thank you to the MDs @jerrodnieman and @pullingbowsandbarbells for running a smooth match. Big thanks to the ROs and volunteers for donating their time and efforts to the match. I know as an RO myself, team events can be a bit hectic with so many more athletes on the line. Everyone did awesome! taken in TDSA Range by @sing_chay

Another RO adventure in the books, and as always, a blast. The @thetacticalgames crew rolled into Rupert, ID for another regional event—lots of hard work, great food, and even better company. The team came together and got it done with outstanding leadership from the TTG crew.

By the end of the weekend, it felt a little like Full House—everywhere you turned there was another familiar face, plenty of laughs, and somehow always someone ready to eat. Grateful for the friendships, the memories, and another great event.

Until the next one. taken in City of Rupert Outdoor Shooting Complex by @sing_chay
