Free performances in the BMO Atrium at 11am and 1pm “Hummingbirds & Herons” uses evocative, expressive songs and open-hearted
story-telling to shine a hopeful light on the grief that comes with death, taking the
audience on a cathartic and ultimately, uplifting journey. @evergreen_brick_works with @lorinancykalamanski @lisa.olafson @jeaninenoyes @hheillig and Steve Sherman. Directed by Marcia Tratt. by @singalongtim

3 more things to tell you before tomorrow's show. This just in. Jeanine Noyes & Henry Heillig have kindly offered to play a few songs at the top of the show to get us all warmed up. Hurrah and Thankyou! 2 other people to mention in the making of the album. Steve Sherman mixed the album and he will be playing guitar with us tomorrow. The album was mastered by @masteringronskinner . As the concert is in a church, there will be refreshments- tea, coffee and cookies. If you look closely at the poster, on the left hand side there is an index card with my Mum's chocolate chip cookies recipe written on it. And that's what we have to go with coffee and tea. Baked my the amazing Sarah @machingale3 . Looking forward to seeing all who can come, tomorrow, Sunday 22nd. 3pm. And please if you can get your tix in advance from me. That would be amazing. #originalmusic. #livemusic #toronto #homemade #cookies taken in Woodbine Heights Baptist church by @singalongtim

The last piece of the puzzle, the icing on the cake. Backing vocals. Long time collaborators @lorinancykalamanski , @lisa.olafson and the legendary @jeaninenoyes, collectively known in our little circle as “the hummingbirds”. As we listened back to their vocals with the strings and the band, I was in tears. It all sounded so full, so gorgeous. #hummingbirds #canadianmusic #originalmusic #vocals by @singalongtim

@hheillig thought @eric_st.laurent and @markmariashmusic would be the perfect musicians to bring my songs to the next level. So we got together at Henry’s house to play through the songs, and the next day, we went into @canterburymusicco to record bass, drums, guitar and lead vocals. What a great day that was! Thanks Eric and Mark by @singalongtim
