The Dalmore Distillery Select 2026 is here, and it is a 14 Year Old Semisecco Marsala Cask Finish, natural colour, non-chill filtered, bottled at 53.7% ABV //MediaGift

This is delicious with notes of honeycomb, crème brûlée, cacao covered fudge, pear, sultana, orange peel, and vanilla pods

Being non chill filtertered and of natural colour is something I've wanted to see at Dalmore, and now there's been a few releases to showcase this in this series, I'm looking forward to each release, year on year

Justerini & Brooks is officially open with their private clients space in St James, and I had a wonderful afternoon with a dear friend today to mark the moment

I also had quite the time at the original pre opening, where I marked a space as Millie's corner, where we sipped on what may well be the finest modern bottling I have had

Introducing The Loch Lomond Waypoint 31 Year Old (44.1% ABV), the distillery’s oldest peated Single Malt ever to be released //AD

Created using Loch Lomond’s Straight Neck Stills, the spirit matured in three types of ex-bourbon American Oak casks for 30 years before being finished in Tawny Port pipes for a further year, the distillery’s spirit character is still present.

I found honey, candied fruit, sweet peat, and peaches on the nose, leading to chocolate malt, blackberries, raspberries, and pear on the palate, finishing with a chewy drying mouthfeel of cedarwood and nutmeg spices

The Loch Lomond Waypoint 31 Year Old is now available at £750 limited to 2,600 bottles worldwide

This is Loch Lomond’s Golden Week, celebrating the extensive selection of Loch Lomond Whiskies produced by a unique distillation process //AD

I visited the Whisky Shop to try their exclusive Loch Lomond Waypoint 16 year old Single Malt Scotch Whisky. While Loch Lomond Whiskies are usually derived from a combination of both straight neck and swan neck stills, this particular whisky is different for the distillery as it's crafted only from the spirit produced by their swan neck stills. The result is a whisky with a lighter character with orchard fruits, floral notes and gentle cooking spices.

Loch Lomond is a distillery not bound by tradition, but driven by a curiosity and determination to do things differently. This Golden Week celebrates 60 years of Loch Lomond’s unique straight neck and swan neck stills.

Celebrating 60 years of Loch Lomonds' unique straight neck and swan neck stills, these allow the distillery to craft a spectrum of spirit styles, resulting in one of the most diverse whisky portfolios around the world.

I visited the Whisky Exchange to try and discuss their Whisky of the Year 2024, the Loch Lomond 18 Year Old. This is a whisky produced using both straight neck and swan neck stills, from both peated and unpeated malt, creating a rich, creamy and complex single malt. Matured for 18 years, this showcases the depth of character from the distillery.

This is impressive, The Rosemaund The Director’s Cut 10 Year Old Single Malt English Whisky is fruity and fresh... this is an English whisky that's peaked my palate with orchard fruits, zingy green apples, golden raisins, and pear notes //MediaInvite

A combination of ex-bourbon casks and Oloroso sherry casks, with some virgin oak, there are 3000 bottles with an ABV of 47%

Yes, this was a gorgeous day out, and sometimes that can skew people's perception. But I've been on plenty of gorgeous media trips and sometimes not post anything about the product itself, but this Single Malt, this English whisky, is fantastic
