A 20 minute version of my work-in-progress solo “One of the boys”, took place at @mfstudioq 23rd of March under @studio_apelbaum s event.

The showing was a part of my month in residency at MF Studio, developing the piece in close collaboration with choreographer and performer @matildeflor. Thank you for your trust and all the great work we did together 🫂

Thank you @yolodile and Jonathan for making space. Thank you to my friends coming to support, @eva.zibert for your ideas and for all the positive feedback I received at the event. I’m excited to continue developing the piece, hopefully showing it soon again. And curious to see in which direction it will travel next. by @sinloveshard

New school year. Feeling inspired by inside/outside. Promised myself to try more and faster this year. Maybe instagram can be a way to keep me accountable. Posting before the cringe kicks in.

I started this piece during a 2 week residency with the @thepalace.collective after I was given the tools to make it happen at my dear dear @samsampetherbridge and @fayeguy_art workshop Tactile Archives.

My love for stitching has always been with me by mending and making clothes, but I never imagined it could become an expression for my art. I love the imperfections and the freedom the medium brings out of me. You’ll see some more of this stuff in the future:)

Komma Hem (Coming Home). A 2 hour piece. A collective grief. A celebration of slowness, knowledge, care, nature and communal experiences such as story telling, sewing, and music. And hopefully a radicalization of thought.

Komma hem is a performance piece that I gave birth to walking in the forest at my art school where I am currently dancing. When I walk in the pine forest close to our campus, it’s not without grief. I keep looking at all the cut down stumps and fallen rotten trunks. I keep reading the news about P4lestine and it felt like I had no one to share it with. I am missing a political discourse in my life here, so I decided to make a room for my frustrations and grief and turn it into something politically productive.

I asked 4 artists to sew me a back piece made out of materials from the forest, and I asked two musicians to play and sing Nordic folk music, and I asked the audience to join me in reading political essays, poetry and journalism - out loud for everyone to hear, or just for themselves.
