Scott Stanley “Skarback” Blair
1965 - 2026

Fearless.
The word I always used for my brother. And as I kid, a decade his junior, I was in awe of it. And no matter what I tried, it became obvious he was in a different league in that regard.
Whether it was punching well above his weight breaking Mylestom tackling records, big wave surfing, catching reptiles or risking his own safety to help someone in danger (which I can attest to first hand on many occasions), he always had people shaking their head in disbelief.
And over the past couple of surreal weeks, I’ve never heard more stories of his selflessness in coming to other’s defense or helping out with whatever he had to offer.

The only thing he may have feared was his future after last year’s dementia diagnosis and at least now, he never has to stress about that, or what it may have lead to, ever again. A small comfort to offset the many tears that have been and will be shed by those he’s left in his wake. Your tales are legendary mate, in every sense of the word and they will never be forgotten. As won’t you.

I need to thank the likes of Jenny, Nick & Justin Stark, Tracey & Phil, Chooky & Kate, Bonno & Glenys, Matty Homer, Wendy, Karen, Barney, Opal Harvey and Chazza. The likes of whom supported me through an incredibly tough time, in ways I will be forever grateful for.
Thanks of course also goes to my amazing wife Nicole, who took the family reigns solely on her own through the busiest time in recent memory, to allow me to be where I needed to be. ❤️
