Here is to Best Buds. Tobes and I met in high school, and I would quite seriously frame him as my ‘rock’. Always encouraging and supportive, always looking out for me, sharing the good times and bad. And so generous and inclusive with all has magical music pursuits. We’ve made so much music together since high school - and one of the bigger lasting testaments to our creative collaborations would be everything we’ve done together in Youth Group (since I joined in 2004). Not to negate the equally stunning and thoughtful input of Sir Danny Allen (YG’r from the start) and Pat - but this photo of Tobes and I popped up in my memories and sparked this post reflecting of my love of the man. Anyhow, we are ‘pulling the Ferrari from out under the dust covers’ and hitting the road all together in a few weeks. It’s more than a couple old friends going on a golf trip - because we get to see in real time the joy and fun it brings to fans and friends alike. Yikes - is that the time! I gotta get dressed and go to work! See @youthgroupband for more details. And thank you @tobymartinmusic , for everything. Lives shared together packed full of inspiration, risk, family, growth and amazing memories.🙏🏻❤️
