Technology is amazing...

...until it isn’t.

One minute, everything’s working perfectly. The next, someone can’t log in, the server is acting up, emails have stopped flowing, or your phone lights up with the kind of notification nobody wants to see.

That’s where we come in.

Welcome to Sirkit!

We help businesses stay productive, protected, and secure by catching problems early, stopping threats before they become disasters, and making technology something you don’t have to think about.

Because great IT isn’t measured by how many tickets get opened.

It’s measured by the problems that never happen.

You’ll even catch a few laughs in this video (yes... there may or may not be an office massage involved). 😄

We believe technology shouldn’t add stress to your day - it should remove it.

At Sirkit, we take protecting your business seriously.

We just don’t think we have to take ourselves too seriously.

Welcome to Sirkit.

🤖 When AI goes rogue: Can artificial intelligence become a hacker?

To kick off Cybersecurity Awareness Month, we’re looking back at some of Canada's most memorable cybersecurity incidents.

In October 2026, researchers revealed that an AI agent had attempted to hack the Library and Archives Canada website.

According to a report from U.S.-based research group Transluce, AI agents made 899 search requests targeting historical Canadian records in May and June 2026. Of those requests, 13 contained suspicious instructions designed to probe the website for security vulnerabilities.

Fortunately, the attempts were unsuccessful, and the Canadian Centre for Cyber Security reported no indication that government systems had been compromised.

🤖 The takeaway: Artificial intelligence is changing the cybersecurity landscape. AI can be an incredible tool for businesses, but as AI becomes more autonomous, it can also introduce new risks.

🍂 Happy Thanksgiving from Sirkit! 🦃

The Sirkit crew is logging off, powering down, and making room for turkey, stuffing, and probably one too many slices of pie. 🥧

Our office will be closed Monday, October 12th for Thanksgiving, and we’ll be back at it on Tuesday!

We’re incredibly thankful for our amazing clients, partners, and team who make Sirkit what it is.

Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving! 🍂

Hockey season is back. 🏒

So naturally, we had to break out the jerseys at Sirkit.

Different teams. Different colours. A few questionable allegiances. 😏 But one thing we can all agree on: showing up for your team matters.

That’s a big part of what Stronger Together means to us.

You don’t have to wear the same jersey to have each other’s backs. You show up. You support your people. You celebrate the wins together, battle through the tough ones, and protect the team when it matters.

That’s how we try to show up for each other at Sirkit, and it’s how we show up for our clients and partners every day.

Now, once the puck drops, all bets are off. 😂

To our Flames friends and partners: we’ll always have your backs when it comes to your technology.

But on the ice? We’re coming for you. 😉

Here’s to another season of rivalries, chirps, great hockey, and hopefully the CUP back in Edmonton!

Stronger Together. Even when we’re cheering for different teams.

Let’s go, Oilers! 🧡💙

Thank you to the @icbabc team for having us out at the Meet the Generals & Owners event yesterday at the Edmonton Convention Centre. 🎉

We made so many great connections and saw so many familiar faces. Faizal, Andriy, and Verena didn't stop until the absolute last minute, we had such a blast!

We will be drawing the winner of the Ninja coffee machine tomorrow, so keep an eye on your DMs for your winning message! ☕

We look forward to connecting with you all again at the next one. Congratulations to John McNicoll on such an amazing event.

🍻 The drinks

Sirkit was proud to support @lutw_solarcharity this week by donating 30 computers to support their mission of providing tools and technology to help people improve their lives, create new opportunities, and build a brighter future.

Light Up The World is a Canadian registered charity committed to transforming lives through energy access. We bring solar power to remote, off-grid communities, replacing polluting fuel-based lighting and expensive single-use batteries with clean, reliable energy.
