In just 2 days, it’ll be 1 whole month since my entire life changed … There’s not a day that passes that I don’t express how extremely grateful to God I am for this baby boy. There’s also no words I can even think of to explain the feeling 🥰. Postpartum, 4th-Trimester, it’s not for the faint! Women are truuuuly superheroes. This phase takes such a GENTLE love. Prioritizing your mental & emotional state is so important. Thankfully, I’m blessed to have a spouse who doesn’t hesitate at treating me to self-care, or giving me a night out to myself/ friends. Those breaks are needed more than he or I will ever know! The Sleepless nights are not fun lol- sure. But somehow his little self makes it all worth it. & I mean that! Cuddles I’ll never forget. Getting him here was scary man. I remember his name being written on my hospital’s room white board & I couldn’t keep my eyes off it. I remember picturing him, healthy, in my arms. Picturing his face. Over, and over. And over. Outside of intense prayer, that is what literally gave me strength. And now it’s my reality! Every day. Him in my arms. & his sweet sweet face. 🥰 I never knew I even possessed such strength, & I never knew motherhood would feel this… immense. 🥹 God is SO GOOD! And He truly gave us such a perfect NewYear’s gift. I can’t believe I have a whole child. 😩.

So happy he’s mine. 🫶🏽🌳

Some people get birthdays.

Some people get milestones.

But 75 years… that’s GOLDEN. 🥹💛

Watching my dad walk into his new home, completely surrounded by the people who love him, is a moment I’ll carry with me forever.

After losing my mom this year, celebrating him felt even more meaningful. It was a reminder that while life changes in ways we never expect, God still gives us moments to pause… to celebrate, to embrace one another, and to give thanks for the people we still get to love out loud.

Golden at 75 wasn’t just a theme.

It was a celebration of LIFE. A celebration of strength, sacrifice, wisdom, resilience, unwavering faith, and a legacy that continues through all of us.

Dad, thank you for being STEADY. Thank you for loving us so well. Thank you for showing us what perseverance, integrity, and quiet strength look like.

And to every single person who came—especially with such little notice—thank you. You helped create one of the sweetest memories our family will ever hold close.

Happy 75th Birthday, Daddy. What a gift it is that we still get to celebrate you.

Here’s to your golden years… and to many, many more.
