In January I did a Dieta - a month long intensive study in the Amazon rainforest in the tradition of the indigenous Yawanawa people of the forest.
Little did I know that this study would open up a deep personal healing journey that would last many months post-Dieta. During this intensive healing process I had an opening to prepare myself for the offerings I wish to bring for supporting my fellow human beings on their own journeys through life.
Now that I have closed the chapter of my own post-Dieta healing - I am very happy to extend my support to those who feel called to work together.
If this is something that resonates with you - I invite you to reach out 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 taken in San Francisco, California by @sittingwithin

Heeey world!

Yesterday, we wrapped up our time at the spiritual journey in San Francisco with the wonderful Jonas Masetti, Denise, and Marta.

Beyond the intense spiritual connections and discoveries, what struck us most was the depth of love present in certain relationships.

Once again, I want to thank my Ori, my Vodun Olisa, and my dear friend Esmeralda for nudging me last year not to turn down an invitation that wouldn't actually be extended until this year.

Asharya, you are a light—generous and a true unifier! What a blessing to have you by my side.

Denise, the energy you radiate is so beautiful, especially given the challenging path of walking alongside an Acharya.

And Marta, you have no idea the admiration and love you’ve inspired in me.

Nildo, the way you look after me—and all of us—gives us the certainty that everything will always work out. 🤍

It takes the coming together of so many special people to attract so many other sweet souls who share the same frequency of love.

Right now, love is my middle name! So much gratitude! by @sittingwithin

VISITANTES INTERNACIONAIS NO HUMPAME

WISDOM & MEDICINE: VEDIC TEACHINGS & SACRED TOBACCO Paje Maná Shanenawa &
Acharya Jonas Masetti

Wednesday March 19 | 7 PM - 10P
Ofrendafest/ QCA 5-11 47th Ave LIC 11101
Tickets link in bio $33-$55

Journey into the wisdom of two ancient traditions―the Vedic teachings of Vedanta and the sacred medicine of the Amazon rainforest. Through Vedanta, one of the world’s most ancient spiritual philosophies, we explore the nature of consciousness and self-realization. Through the lens of Vedanta and Shanenawa tradition, we will explore timeless truths about the nature of the self, consciousness, and the path to inner freedom. The experience will be deepened by Amazonian plants like Hapé and Sananga for clearing the mind and opening the heart. Accompanied by sacred chants, this gathering offers a powerful fusion of Eastern philosophy and Amazonian tradition―awakening clarity, connection, and a profound sense of inner peace.

Pajé Maná Shanenawa

Pajé Mana Shanenawa, a respected healer from the Shanenawa people of the Amazon, joins Jonas Masetti’s U.S. tour as a special guest. As Jonas’s teacher in forest medicine, Mana carries ancestral healing knowledge and embodies profound spiritual wisdom through his initiations and Dieta practices. His dedication has earned him leadership in his community.

Acharya Jonas Masetti
A distinguished Vedanta teacher and direct disciple of Swami Dayananda, Jonas spent four years studying in India under various masters, completed his studies in India and was recognized by India’s Prime Minister as the Ambassador of Vedic Tradition in the Americas in 2020. He received the Padma Shri award in 2025. His teaching combines classical Sanskrit studies with modern accessibility. mAfter a career in engineering and finance, Jonas dedicated himself to Vedanta, reaching thousands through his Vishwavidya organization’s lectures, courses, and retreats. He also embraces indigenous wisdom, holding the title Atutapi Mayru from the Shanenawa family and studying under Lakota medicine man Vernon Foster, bridging ancient traditions.
