🌿 MATSINI YAWANAWÁ • CALIFORNIA TOUR 🌿

It is a beautiful honor to welcome our beloved teacher Matsini Yawanawá and children Kuru, Kenetsayny & Anjelica back to California, carrying the prayers, songs, stories and living wisdom of the Yawanawá people of the Brazilian Amazon. 🪶🌿

This tour is an invitation to gather in community, to listen, to learn, to sing and to experience the depth of a tradition that has been carried and protected through generations.

Matsini brings a powerful yet deeply heart-centered presence, sharing teachings from his culture and his connection to the forest through prayer, music, storytelling and traditional practices.

For me, these gatherings are about so much more than an event. They are about relationship, reciprocity and remembrance — creating opportunities for Indigenous voices to be heard directly, supporting the continuation of their traditions, and building bridges between our communities.

Each gathering will be a little different, with opportunities to experience Yawanawá music, prayer, teachings, community and connection.

If you’ve been feeling called to deepen your relationship with the wisdom of the forest, learn directly from Indigenous tradition, or simply sit together in sacred community, we would love to welcome you.

Encerramos ontem nossa participação numa Jornada Espiritual em São Francisco com os muito queridos @jonasmasetti , @denisekuperman e @sittingwithin

Mais que intensas conexões espirituais e descobertas o que mais impressionou a mim e ao @nildocartasenumeros foi o tamanho do amor envolvido em certas relações.

Agradeço mais uma vez a meu Ori, ao meu Vodun Olisa e a querida amiga Esmeralda pela provocação feita ainda no ano passado para que não recusasse o convite que seria feito somente nesse ano.

Asharya, vc é luz, é generoso e um aglutinador !!!! Que benção tê-lo ao meu lado.

Denise, quão linda é a energia que vc emana nesse lugar tão difícil que é seguir ao lado de um Asharya.

E Marta vc não tem a menor idéia da admiração e do amor que vc me inspirou.

Heeey world!

Yesterday, we wrapped up our time at the spiritual journey in San Francisco with the wonderful Jonas Masetti, Denise, and Marta.

Beyond the intense spiritual connections and discoveries, what struck us most was the depth of love present in certain relationships.

Once again, I want to thank my Ori, my Vodun Olisa, and my dear friend Esmeralda for nudging me last year not to turn down an invitation that wouldn't actually be extended until this year.

Asharya, you are a light—generous and a true unifier! What a blessing to have you by my side.

Denise, the energy you radiate is so beautiful, especially given the challenging path of walking alongside an Acharya.

And Marta, you have no idea the admiration and love you’ve inspired in me.

Nildo, the way you look after me—and all of us—gives us the certainty that everything will always work out. 🤍

It takes the coming together of so many special people to attract so many other sweet souls who share the same frequency of love.

Right now, love is my middle name! So much gratitude!

@humbonorogerio is a chemist-turned Afro-Brazilian Candomblé priest. @jonasmasetti left his career in finance and now is one of the most renowned Vedanta teachers in the world.

When Jonas wanted to befriend Humbono, Humbono made him answer these three questions first.

That’s when Jonas realized something he’d never really noticed before: all of his Vedanta (a Hindu tradition) teachers had actually been Black.

I came in knowing almost nothing about either tradition and left really moved by this beautiful community. Seemingly differed ideologies actually share so much in common. If someone tells you you have to die to be happy, that’s a religion. We are here to bring you not a religion, but ancestral practices that make you happy.

Who is in the constellation of your soul? ✨💗✨💗✨

And, how are you meant to support one another…? 🕊️

I have found myself sitting with this inquiry a lot.
Deeply investigating who is weaving in and out of my life and how we’re meant to serve and support one another.

And when the student is ready, the teacher appears…(!) 😱

I feel very grateful to have spent the weekend receiving deep wisdom and training from Ron Young (and team!) on the healing power of Family Constellation Therapy. 🙏

Family Constellation Therapy training is a structured educational path that teaches individuals how to identify, map, and resolve generational trauma, unconscious family entanglements, and hidden systemic dynamics. Developed in the West (from ancient lineages) by Bert Hellinger, this modality explores how emotional histories and behavioral patterns pass down through ancestral lineages.

I’ve known for about two years this would weave into my official studies, and I was not surprised when it was opened for me to attend the training this weekend. Precisely as very significant movements were beginning to unfold in my own biological family constellation.

The Divine has impeccable timing. 💫🙇‍♀️🙏🕊️✨🙌💫

My training in this modality is in its infancy, and I can already see how powerfully this will weave into the healing space I hold for others as they walk the courageous path of their own healing journey. 🤯🤯🤯🤯

Immensely GRATEFUL for;
🕊️all the teachers that have graced my path. And my teachers’ teachers! It’s an abundance beyond words. 🥹

🕊️the soul family members who I am blessed to be in devotional study and service work with. You hold my heart steady on the edge of my sharpest learning curves and inspire me everyday. 🥰🤗🥰

My soul feels like a new inner fire has been ignited. And this fire is eternal. ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

My heart feels deeply humbled by the expanded vision of how deeply I am meant to be of service.

Today we received this video from Chief Matsini - our Yawanawá teacher, guardian of wisdom, father, friend, and collaborator.

We learned that at this very moment, Matsiní is in his own 30-day Seya diet,
deepening his own study of the saitis, prayers, and the Yawanawá spiritual tradition.

It makes this Sunday’s gathering feel even more meaningful,
as he is in the forest, in his own dedication and study,
he is also taking this moment to connect with us across countries, languages, and time zones.

He shared gratitude for technology and for the possibility that we can meet in this way.
How far modern society has come in the speed of communication…
And, at the same time, how profound communication through song, prayer and presence can be.
This Sunday we gather to share technologies.

Not only the modern ones, but also the indigenous technologies of connection, music, prayer and listening,

In one of the previous videos we shared,
Matsiní spoke about how through music we release and transform energy.
What a beautiful tool to carry with us—

in airports, in traffic, in moments of overwhelm, in times when emotions feel too heavy to hold alone.

There is so much happening in the world right now.
May this gathering be a way of connecting, with ourselves,
with each other and with nature. It feels more important than ever.
May it be a gathering of remembering.

We also want to acknowledge our deep respect for the elders
who protected these songs, prayers, stories for generations deep within the forest,
during times when so much around them was trying to erase this culture.

And yet it survived.
And now it continues to grow.
To bring people together through music.

[ONLINE SAITI STUDY & STORYTELLING WITH CHIEF MATSINI YAWANAWÁ]

We are living in prophetic times. The Yawanawá have stories that tell of this time on earth, the moment when bridges would be built across cultures to shepherd in this new time of alliance, unity, and rebalancing.

The seed of Kairau was a vision and prophecy brought by the revered elder, Page Tatá late in his life. For years and years, Pajé Tatá was forced to keep his studies, songs, and stories hidden as his people faced the brutal force of colonization. Their language and spirituality outlawed, their people in diaspora, Tatá knew he must keep the ancient ways alive. As he felt himself getting older, he prayed for the way forward for his people.

Tatá’s prayer was answered when he received the vision of Kairau, in what he described as the pinnacle of all his spiritual experience. This spiritual seed carried within it the promise of rebirth. As this seed would flourish, the tribe would return home, the songs, language and spirituality would be practiced again, and the songs would go out into the world, touching the hearts of humanity. Bridges from the forest to the rest of the world would be built and these alliances would fulfill the ancient prophecies of unity.
