Finding geometry in the details. From clean lines to perfect curves, great construction is where precision and good design come together. #constructionlife #GeometryEverywhere #Eugenebuilder #Architecturedetails #craftmanship by @sixdegreesconstruction

This is how it started and where we are now, entering the final phases of completion. Custom homes are a puzzle that gets put together one piece at a time, and that’s why we love them. This build blends natural stone, Doug Fir, Metal, and striking Adobo siding from @pioneermillworks making it pop on the hillside. It is a modern design by @2form_architecture that feels uniquely Oregon. This took collaboration, problem solving, and a lot of craftsmanship to deliver a house we are proud to put our name on. #HomeDesign #custombuilt #builder #newhome #luxuryhomes #realestate #construction #architecture #dreamhome #customhomes #design #home #customhomebuilder #fsccertified taken in Eugene, Oregon by @sixdegreesconstruction

Historic restoration is not only about preserving what people see. It is also about coordinating the work that happens before the finished details return.

At Treetops, the former Chancellors House at the University of Oregon, Week 4 brought more of the behind-the-scenes process into view. Large window components are being moved carefully, existing conditions are being reviewed, and mitigation work continues to make the next phase of restoration possible.

This kind of project requires more than a single design decision. It takes sequencing, communication, field documentation, and a team that understands how every step affects the next one.

Working alongside @sixdegreesconstruction , our team continues to support the careful coordination required to restore this historic home with the respect it deserves.

In historic work, progress is often measured in the details you protect along the way.

Historic renovation requires more than a design vision. It requires patience, documentation, and a willingness to let the existing structure inform the next decision.

At Treetops, also known as the Chancellor's House at the University of Oregon, early field discoveries are helping shape the restoration process. Existing materials, old floor layers, original details, and construction conditions all become part of the conversation.

That is where collaboration matters. Working with @sixdegreesconstruction our team is able to study what is uncovered in the field and respond thoughtfully - not just with what looks good on paper, but with what respects the home and supports the work ahead.

In historic work, the building often has something to say. The responsibility is to listen carefully before deciding what comes next.

This house in Eugene will soon look better than the renderings. You can tell this is a meticulous builder just from the tidy jobsite, and we have always had great results from Six Degrees Construction.

The site is near the top of a hill and there will be sweeping views from the rooftop deck. That's a reliable way to wow your friends. taken in Eugene, Oregon by @sixdegreesconstruction

Spotlight on the spiral-shaped exercise/meditation studio at the Crest House 🌀

This round structure was such a fun challenge for us to design, and for @sixdegreesconstruction to build!

The six-foot diameter central oculus skylight is great for both passive heating in the winter and letting in calming, diffuse light on cloudy days. We love skylights! 🌞

Nestled into Eugene’s south hills, the Crest House site includes a single family residence, an exercise/meditation studio, a carriage guest house/garage, and a cascading terraced landscape designed by landscape architect @lovingerrobertson

A wood barrel hot tub, lounge hammock, sculptures, such as the raked sand spiral, and native plant garden make this yard the perfect relaxation retreat✨

Up next, the studio! 🌀
