As we close out this theatre season, we want to say thank you! Thank you to every artist, audience member, supporter, volunteer, donor, and collaborator who made this season so special.

This year challenged us, inspired us, and reminded us why having spaces to express, create, succeed and fail matters. We’re incredibly proud of what we built and shared together.

And we’re just getting started.

Next season, we’re looking forward to growing, taking bigger creative risks, developing new work, and continuing to build a space for bold storytelling and meaningful community.

Thank you for being part of the story. We can’t wait to share what’s next. 🎭

I love to build things and I love to do art things. Getting to do both of those with some of my favorite people in the world meant everything to me. Chance of Rain had a fantastic festival run and is now available to watch online. I would be so grateful if you gave it a watch ❤️. Link in bio

I got to film a dream project in the state I grew up in. I got to build rain towers with my brother that I look up to. I got to collaborate with my mother on art when she was the first artist in my life.

I got to work with some of the most talented people in the world. Like DP Terrence Hayes, Hilty Bowen, Katherine Cortez, Zoey Moses, Amit Steiner, Cezara, Griffin Devine, Tristan Clark, Josh Smith (sorry your scene got cut!), among many many others.

Thank you to all who helped make this little project possible. Here is to dreams and those that help us build them. by @sixtysixtheater

After a thrilling selection process, we’re excited to announce the recipients of our Pages in Paris transatlantic residency! This year, over 500 playwrights from across the US submitted original one-act plays. Six standout works made the finals, co-produced by Sixty-Six Productions, For the Actor, and Le Studio D’Art, and staged at Skylight Theatre in LA.

Our jury faced an incredible dilemma, the caliber of work was so high, we simply couldn’t choose just one. Thanks to a generous sponsor, we’re sending TWO playwrights to Paris for a two-week residency this fall!

Congratulations to 🌟 CRIS ELI BLAK and 🌟 AKELA MUNSEY! They’ll join Le Studio D’Art in Paris to develop their plays with our directors and creatives.
Thank you to everyone who submitted, and to our amazing co-producers. Special congratulations to our six brilliant finalists: Akela Munsey, Cris Eli Blak, Dan Perry, John C. Richards, Kimberly Lawton, and Rebecca Kane. Your plays were true standouts among hundreds, and we’re so proud to have staged your work in LA.

To Cris and Akela—Paris awaits! We can’t wait for the next chapter of this creative adventure! 🇫🇷✈️ by @sixtysixtheater
