After a thrilling selection process, we’re excited to announce the recipients of our Pages in Paris transatlantic residency! This year, over 500 playwrights from across the US submitted original one-act plays. Six standout works made the finals, co-produced by Sixty-Six Productions, For the Actor, and Le Studio D’Art, and staged at Skylight Theatre in LA.

Our jury faced an incredible dilemma, the caliber of work was so high, we simply couldn’t choose just one. Thanks to a generous sponsor, we’re sending TWO playwrights to Paris for a two-week residency this fall!

Congratulations to 🌟 CRIS ELI BLAK and 🌟 AKELA MUNSEY! They’ll join Le Studio D’Art in Paris to develop their plays with our directors and creatives.
Thank you to everyone who submitted, and to our amazing co-producers. Special congratulations to our six brilliant finalists: Akela Munsey, Cris Eli Blak, Dan Perry, John C. Richards, Kimberly Lawton, and Rebecca Kane. Your plays were true standouts among hundreds, and we’re so proud to have staged your work in LA.

To Cris and Akela—Paris awaits! We can’t wait for the next chapter of this creative adventure! 🇫🇷✈️

Big thanks to my “A Battle of Inches”cast and director John Hindman. Although I wasn’t selected to go to Paris, I got to work with these amazingly talented people, which makes me a winner! Thanks to everyone who came out to see the plays and to Sixty-Six Productions for their support. 🎭🙌🏽
