This is it! Chew is here…

Man… It’s been an emotional rollercoaster. Me and my team shot this music video a little over two years ago now, and the hardest part about this whole thing has been actually finishing it. Perfectionism doesn’t produce first drafts, and as time passed so did my love for this project. Of course now I feel like I’ve grown so much as a person and as an artist I had to put aside my ego and just finish the damned thing, despite of all of its glaring imperfections that I may see. An official credit list will be dropped later, but for now on just wanna thank all the people that sort of made chew possible.

So thank you to @eccentricartists.space for indirectly inspiring the idea for this project. Believe it or not this was supposed to be a cooking video for one of their short film challenges... Thank you @sj.itxel for stepping up and producing this, I know you felt like you had big shoes to fill, but you fit them all along! Thank you to @audrey_page.pd for helping build the flats, and @reeyanasingh for pushing me to actually build a set instead of shooting it inside my apartment. my wallet wasn’t thankful though. Thank you to @r.j.cronin for putting time aside in choreographing the dance. To @dsheikyosef for making the most wicked fits. To @alexisgigabyte for helping me on two projects that never came out. (Now it’s just one 🪮) @casinocoffee for last minute coming in to break dancing on a 4 foot wide dance floor. For @bluejcreates & Danny Chandia for teaching me all that I know about 3D animation. For @abushammaa for being the right brain to my left brain. To all the crew that insisted on staying despite going into OT. To @honeymoonarcade for their original music and becoming a recent new friend. And to @unlvfilm @dz1g4v3rt0v to the education and letting us use the studio one last time. Also @rosiekino had to be in said studio for hours while we played around.

And lastly a thanks to all of you guys who love and support what I do. We are truly blessed to have a community of super talented and super passionate people like in vegas. I’m happy to set this chapter in my life to a close and finish the next thing in a timely manner. by @sj.itxel
