MíraLA is more than a film festival… it’s an ecosystem built to amplify women’s voices. 🎬✨

What began as one woman’s vision has grown into MíraLA Media, the MíraLA Film Festival, the MíraLA Podcast, and a growing network of filmmakers, creatives, founders, and supporters.

Through storytelling, meaningful conversations, community events, and filmmaker resources, we’re creating more opportunities for women to be seen, heard, supported, and funded.

No major studio. No corporate backing. Just consistency, community, and an unwavering belief in women-led storytelling.

This is what we’re building ✨ and we’re only getting started.

Watch. Listen. Create. Connect.

Partner with MíraLA. Support women-led stories. Join our network.

RecreAsian Productions presents: Crazy Stupid Love...with an ✨Asian twist✨

Originally released in 2011, Crazy, Stupid, Love starred Steve Carell, Ryan Gosling, and Emma Stone, and follows Cal Weaver as he navigates life, love, and heartbreak after the end of his marriage.

For this project, we wanted to do more than recreate a beloved film. We wanted to challenge the stereotypes Asian men have often faced in Western media, where they have historically been overlooked as romantic leads, reduced to side characters, or denied the opportunity to be seen as desirable, charismatic, and complex.

By reimagining this story through an Asian lens, we hoped to flip that narrative on its head and celebrate Asian men as the leading men they've always deserved to be.

✨CRAZY STUPID LOVE WILL BE PREMIERING OCTOBER 2ND AT 5PM!! LINK TO WATCH THE FULL SCENE IN OUR BIO✨

Enjoy!!!

32 and hotter than ever 💃🏼

It’s taken a lot of work to get here but I’m so happy again. I’ve had a few friends tell me I’m glowing these days and I believe it. My first season of Sex in the City is just starting 😏

The first two photos are from my first every Sundance in Park City! It was amazing and cold and magical! ✨The snow falling ❄️ all around you while you get to see films and talk to people from all over was something completely out of this world! It was my first time as a filmmaker seeing short films and thinking that I could really be part of the film making world! 🎞️ All the other photos are from this year and I have to say despite it only snowing once while we were there it was still magical, every showing was special with the creators being there, every talk felt personal and being with the most amazing friends that have become family made the last year in Park City live up to that very first magical year I had! 💛I’m so grateful I got to part of the last Sundance in Park City and I can’t wait to see where the tips that I learned and the relationships I made take me! Thank you so much Sundance for another great year and I can’t wait to see what will happen next year in Boulder!! #sundancefilmfestival #filmmakers #memories #2026

This Sunday. Feb 1st at 5PM.
We launch the Negativity campaign with a trailer premiere + live Q&A.

At a time when our communities are being overlooked, questioned, and erased, Latina stories deserve to be told loudly and unapologetically.

We’re building this film with community—starting with you.
