WHY Victor Munoz Could Be The Perfect Iraola Winger… Not every signing needs to be a superstar. Sometimes it’s about finding players who perfectly fit the manager’s ideas. Victor Munoz is exactly the type of winger Andoni Iraola has built successful teams around. Direct, aggressive and constantly looking to attack defenders rather than recycle possession. At Osasuna, Munoz developed a reputation for turning successful dribbles into shots and dangerous attacking moments. His arrival could also change the dynamics on Liverpool’s left-hand side. Last season, much of the responsibility for providing width fell on Kerkez as Gakpo drifted inside. Now, with both Munoz and Ngumoha available, Liverpool have genuine wide threats capable of stretching teams themselves. Munoz brings drive and directness. Ngumoha brings creativity and finesse. Together, they give Iraola very different weapons to deploy. There are still areas to improve, particularly defensively, but if there’s one coach you’d trust to develop that side of a winger’s game, it’s Iraola. And when you compare the €40m fee to previous Liverpool signings through the Telstar Transfer Index, it starts to look less like a gamble and more like a calculated investment. Liverpool fans, is Munoz the next great Anfield winger? 👀🔴 #lfc #liverpool #ynwa #liverpoolfc #worldcup by @sjatfkb

WHY Lamine Camara Could Be The Perfect Partner For Moisés Caicedo... Chelsea already have one of the most press-resistant midfielders in the Premier League. But the problem is that too much of their midfield security often depends on Moisés Caicedo doing everything. That’s where Lamine Camara becomes interesting. The Senegalese midfielder is excellent at receiving under pressure, escaping tight areas with quick feet and keeping possession moving through simple, intelligent passes. He isn’t a regista or a Hollywood passer, but he gives Chelsea something arguably more important: control under pressure. In a 3-4-2-1, a double pivot of Caicedo and Camara could give Xabi Alonso two midfielders capable of rotating responsibilities. One can jump into the press. The other can cover the space behind. That could make Chelsea more flexible, more secure and far less reliant on one midfielder to protect the entire structure. There are still concerns. Camara is not dominant aerially, can be outmuscled physically and still needs to improve his final-third output. If teams bypass Chelsea’s press directly, the centre-backs may need to step out aggressively to contest those duels. But at a reported £51m, the Telstar Transfer Index suggests this could be excellent market value, especially when compared to Moisés Caicedo’s inflation-adjusted fee. Chelsea fans, could Camara be the perfect partner for Caicedo? 👀🔵 #cfc #chelseafc #premierleague #lfc #liverpoolfc by @sjatfkb
WHY Carlos Baleba Could Finally Fix Manchester United’s Midfield... For years, Manchester United have struggled with the same problems. Too easy to play through. Too vulnerable in defensive transitions. Not enough athleticism to dominate midfield battles. Carlos Baleba could be the answer. The Brighton midfielder combines explosive ball-carrying with elite duel-winning ability, giving United the physical profile they’ve lacked for years. He’s not the type of player who dictates every attack—but he doesn’t need to. His biggest strength is chaos management. Win the ball, burst through pressure and turn defence into attack in a matter of seconds. Alongside Andrey Santos, Baleba could give United the perfect balance. Santos controlling the tempo from deep, Baleba providing the energy, ball-winning and carrying power further forward. There are still areas to develop. His passing can be inconsistent, his decision-making remains raw at times and he isn’t a natural deep-lying playmaker. But that’s not the role Manchester United would be asking him to perform. At a reported £70m, the Telstar Transfer Index suggests United could actually be buying below market value. A year ago, Baleba was being discussed alongside Moisés Caicedo, whose inflation-adjusted fee would exceed £100m today. United fans, is Carlos Baleba the midfielder you’ve been waiting for? 👀🔴 #mufc #footballanalysis #premierleague #manchesterunited #manunited by @sjatfkb
WHY Ibrahim Mbaye Could Become Liverpool’s Next Pressing Monster... Liverpool’s search for explosive wingers isn’t just about replacing Mohamed Salah. It’s about building a frontline capable of thriving under Andoni Iraola. Ibrahim Mbaye fits that vision perfectly. He’s relentless in and out of possession, attacks defenders with pace, completes a huge volume of dribbles and has the work rate to press aggressively from the front. Those qualities are becoming the blueprint for the modern winger. Tactically, Mbaye has spent most of his time at PSG operating from the right, where his game revolves around stretching the pitch, getting to the byline and delivering dangerous cut-backs rather than constantly cutting inside to shoot. That profile could complement a more goalscoring winger on the opposite flank, giving Liverpool another outlet capable of breaking down stubborn defences while maintaining the intensity Iraola demands. There are still rough edges. His passing isn’t yet at an elite creative level, his left foot remains underdeveloped and he doesn’t quite have the technical flair to consistently beat defenders in the toughest one-versus-one situations. But at just 18, that’s exactly why Liverpool could see such huge upside. The reported £30–45m fee might look ambitious, but the Telstar Transfer Index places Mbaye alongside some of football’s biggest bets on teenage wingers, including Vinícius Júnior and Rodrygo. Liverpool fans, how much of an impact can Mbaye make at Anfield? 👀🔴 #lfc #liverpool #ynwa #liverpoolfc #psg by @sjatfkb
