Life moving so fast I almost forgot I’m a national champion🏆 mission 17 complete ✅

I can’t believe this is my final year on the cheer team. It’s all hitting me at once, but I’ve been so blessed to be around the best people for the last 3 years of my college life. I can’t wait to see what’s next for me, and thank you to all of my coaches, teammates, alumni and lifelong friends I’ve made here, for making each moment so memorable💜 #SFAcheer #LCLM #CODE taken in Daytona Beach, Florida by @sjkirk05

This year has looked like this: 📉📈📉📈 for me. I didn’t even think I was going to come back for a 3rd year and when I made the decision to, I tore my achilles the first week back on a skill I’ve done a million times. The crazy part is, I’ve never had any issues with any parts of ankle and I wasn’t sore or in pain the day that I tore it, so it wasn’t even a thought that crossed my mind. I wasn’t even sure I was going to finish out the season because I didn’t feel like I was going to add any value to the team being out all season and an achillies tear can be career ending. Anyone that knows me knows I love to tumble! I’ve been doing it since I was in elementary, but this whole process of recovery has only reminded me that every thing runs on God’s timing and His plan is always going to be better! Every year has taught me something different, and this year I learned how to give back to my team and add value even with being out. Going through an injury is already hard enough, but I didn’t know the hardest part was going to be feeling like I wasn’t giving back to my team because I lost the physical ability to. I’m so thankful God placed me here, and I wouldn’t have wanted to end it any other way💜 taken in Daytona Beach, Florida by @sjkirk05
