🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸 Tell California senators Alex Padilla and Adam Schiff to vote NO on H.R. 4795! H.R. 4795 is an anti-divestment resolution that would cut federal funding from universities that divest from genocide if it passes in the senate. Let’s make our stance clear to California’s senators: students and universities should not be punished for divesting! 🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸 by @sjpatcsun
"Despite it all, I haven’t lost hope. Every night, I make plans in silence. I believe these dark days won’t last forever. I believe I’ll find a real home again, a room where I can hang my photos and books. I believe I’ll be able to continue my studies and rebuild my life, despite all I’ve lost. This story isn’t just mine — It’s the story of thousands of children and young people in Gaza. I didn’t choose the war — the war chose our people. It stole my childhood and my safety, but it will never erase my faith that one day dawn will come — that one day we’ll live with dignity and peace. To you, who are reading this: Enjoy life fully. Study hard. You live moments of privilege that we don’t have. My greatest wish is to leave this country with my family and live a life like yours. With all my love, Ahmad" Please donate, share, and repost to boost his fundraiser! Link is in bio 🇵🇸 by @sjpatcsun

Join Friends of the Filipino People in Struggle San Fernando Valley and CSUN’s Students for Justice in Palestine on Friday, October 16 for a teach-in about political prisoners of the Philippine and Palestinian resistance, the importance of international solidarity, and how struggles intersect across borders! In their fight for liberation, the Philippines and Palestine share a common history of standing up against imperialist powers and their puppets. With this, political prisoners become a powerful symbol of resistance while exposing the threat of state oppression. In the San Fernando Valley, the rise of fascism directly impacts the region followed by the increase in ICE terror. This teach-in will allow us to extract lessons from one another, draw comparisons that link the global to local struggle, and include engaging discussions on how to broaden the mass movement. To both commemorate and honor the Palestinian Prisoners Day on April 17 and Philippine Political Prisoners Day on December 4, SJP and FFPS aim to tie together the two distinct struggles, as well as expose the root cause of these injustices: US imperialism. 🗓️Friday, Oct 16 @ 12-2PM 📍RSVP for Location! https://tinyurl.com/1016-ED by @sjpatcsun

THE STUDENTS UNITED WILL NEVER BE DIVIDED!CSUN CSUN YOU CAN’T HIDE, NO MORE MONEY FOR GENOCIDE! 🇵🇸 This is SJP’s divestment speech from our action on October 7th, because this information needs to be readily available to ALL students, SHARE IT WIDLEY! Last academic year SJP met with administration to discuss divestment, confirmed that they don’t consider divesting from genocide a priority, and we are now publicly sharing details from those meetings. Our fight for divestment and a free Palestine continues. Let’s make sure these targets know we have not forgotten their complicity. 🇵🇸 by @sjpatcsun
10/7/2026 RECAP: Three years into the current genocide and commemorating a turning point in Palestinian resistance, our community gathered to demand divestment from war, policing and AI. We recognize that the ongoing genocidal violence across Palestine, Sudan, and the Philippines is directly funded by the us and zionist empires and enabled by institutions like CSU(N). Read more about our demands, student speeches, and fundraising efforts. by @sjpatcsun
