Westcoast Winter-Spring 2026 Recap 🌞

This time I will let the photos speak for themselves… 🥑 by @sjwhiteless

Day 6: Intention: Simply sending love✨

Woke up to a phone call from a friend in need today So, when finally arriving to the mat this morning, I found myself desperately yearning to dedicate my practice to her — to send love and light through the boundaries of space or time. When dedicating my practice to someone, it becomes the intention to return back to — an opportunity to practice in the art of loving.
The love of the mother is so divine. was lucky enough to take my grandma out on the town this week, and reminisce on shared memories with my great grandma and mom when sending love to my friend today this is the kind of love I try to find to hold to cultivate in my heart.
Simply, sending love 💕

My practice today consisted of 5 to 6 sunrise salutations sandwiched between a warm-up and cool down sequence based off the one we use in our yoga teacher training class.

update this may be the last of these posts… Dedication, devotion and discipline is its own personal journey. Thank you for allowing me to share as I learn how to work with myself while building new foundations!

Namaste 🕉️💕✨ by @sjwhiteless

Day 5: Intention: Surrender / to meeting myself where I’m at ✨

though it’s hard to meet yourself, where you’re at when you don’t know where you stand… been finding myself using a lot of “yoga terms“ when describing my feelings lately throughout this journey. A great example of how it’s all connected, and we have the opportunity to take anything on the matt off.

speaking of trying to find some patients, let me know if you find any! My previous draft for this post didn’t save… So apologies for the lack of video. My practice today included the, as always… As well as opting for the relaxing gift of instruction through yoga with Adriene, (posted on story/ “Yoga for a heavy heart”).

Day 4: Intention: Less is More - CORE ✨

reflecting, on “less is more” throughout practice and thinking on how powerful this is when we know — what is less and what is more. When there is less on my mind, there is more room for the work resist, like core. To be honest, I almost forgot to post this! Finding my spring break state of mind. 😎

my practice today consisted of a bit of freestyle starting with their set sequence, warm-up and two rounds of sunrise salutation B, then freestyle a sequence utilizing my favorite props the wall and the blocks! Traveling from downward dog, I found myself in a low lunge pivoting up towards warrior one then into warrior two and shifting my front leg to shorten my stance into triangle on the wall. After repeating on each side, I did some core conditioning working my way into boat and bridge with a few others in between. Ending with a traditional savasana and an extended Namaste. Sending a little extra love n light to a friend today 💕 by @sjwhiteless

Day 3: Intention: Monday is magic!✨

Did you know fear and excitement are the same chemical reaction in the brain? No wonder Monday hold so much power over our week, to beware of or to embrace the void? Manic or Magic Monday? You decide!🌀

My practice today consisted of a warm up, a pause to incorporate, mantras and practice, chanting, then continuing with three rounds of our set sequence, sunrise salutation a, one round of our set sequence, sunrise, salutation, B, and another set sequence from yoga teacher training titled shiva Namaskar C. Today I chose to cool off with a nice gator to recline twist, happy babies , and finally savasana. by @sjwhiteless

Day 2: Intention: (SUHKA) Restore for more, Meeting myself where I am with effort, with effort comes ease - suhka✨

noticing a difference as I come into low lunch today, a posture that just a year ago felt like a challenge and opportunity to work now feels like a deeper stretch than I imagined stretches to reach.

my practice included appreciating the gift of instruction through following the first halves of yoga with Adriene‘s youtube sequences titled “ocean flow” and “cozy flow”, ending with a little freestyle of Apanashna into puppy pose back to Childs pose and opting for legs of the wall followed by some needed ice cream!

Goodnight. 🕉️ by @sjwhiteless

Day 1: Intention: Surrender to the gifts today will bring✨

My practice was, a warm up set squence from our YTT class, a Surya x2 from our YTT, that i switched up on the last round to incorporate a more classic Chaturanga upwards dog to downward, dog flow, then borrowing from our grounding set sequence in YTT did a shoulder opener along with revolved pyramid on the wall, finally finishing with a wild and invigorating headstand before a long child’s pose alternative to savasana. Goal get up to 25 deep breaths in headstand, currently at 5. by @sjwhiteless
