🎉 Last year’s SKATESIDE FEST was unforgettable!

Over 2,000 people came together to celebrate skateboarding, roller skating, family fun, and community. 🛹🛼 From beginner lessons to contests, bounce houses to live music — the energy was non-stop.

But SKATESIDE FEST is about more than just a weekend of fun. 💛 At THE SKATESIDE, we believe skating builds confidence, resilience, and friendships that last a lifetime. Our mission has always been simple: more kids skating, more families connected, more community thriving.

This year, we’re going even bigger. 🚀 Join us May 30–31 in Culver City for the 4th Annual SKATESIDE FEST — where family fun meets skate energy.

👉 Tag your crew and let’s roll together!

Whether your child is stepping on a skateboard for the very first time or already loves to ride, our camps are designed to build skills, confidence, friendships, and character in a fun, encouraging environment.

✅ Half Day Camp
🕘 9:00 AM–11:50 AM

✅ Full Day Camp

Our Full Day campers continue skating after lunch with additional practice, games, skill development, and personalized coaching to help reinforce everything they learned during the morning session.

Since 2015, THE SKATESIDE has helped thousands of kids throughout Southern California discover the joy of skateboarding while developing perseverance, confidence, resilience, and respect. Every child progresses at their own pace, and our experienced coaches create a safe, positive environment where kids can challenge themselves, make new friends, and have an unforgettable summer.

Whether your child has never stepped on a board or is looking to improve their skills, we’ll meet them where they are and help them grow.

Summer memories don’t last forever—but the confidence they gain can.

One of the highlights of @skatesidefest was having @antwuandixon join us and spend time with the community.

Throughout the day, Antwuan generously signed autographs, took photos, and connected with kids and families who were excited to meet someone they have looked up to for years. Seeing the smiles on the faces of young skaters as they got the chance to interact with a skateboarding legend was truly special.

What made the day even more meaningful was seeing Antwuan engage not only with the skaters, but also with community leaders, local businesses, vendors, and partners who help make events like SKATESIDE FEST possible. Skateboarding has always been about bringing people together, and his willingness to connect with everyone helped create that atmosphere throughout the event.

We are grateful for the time, energy, and support he gave to our community. Moments like these help inspire the next generation and strengthen the relationships that keep skateboarding growing at the local level.

Thank you, Antwuan, for showing love to our community and helping make SKATESIDE FEST a day to remember. Thank you @turnthepagetroy for making this happen.

💙 MORE KIDS SKATING.

One of the most magical moments from SKATESIDE FEST 💙✨

Watching Rosie share a hug with one of our young skaters reminded us exactly why we created the Gromlin Universe in the first place.

The Gromlins were created to inspire kids to be brave, kind, confident, and believe in themselves both on and off their boards. Seeing these characters come to life and connect with families in person was something truly special.

From the smiles, hugs, high-fives, and excitement throughout the day, Meet the Gromlins quickly became one of the most loved experiences at SKATESIDE FEST. It was amazing to see kids recognize the characters, take photos, and become part of the story themselves.

At THE SKATESIDE, we’re always looking for ways to build confidence, character, and community through skating—and the Gromlin Universe is an extension of that mission.

If you haven’t checked out the book yet, now is the perfect time! 📚💙

Visit the SKATESIDE Shop and discover the adventure that’s inspiring the next generation of skaters, dreamers, and leaders.

Because every great journey starts with courage… and maybe a little help from a Gromlin. 🛹✨
