My three top priorities as BART director? 1. Get the basics right: more clean, safe, reliable trains. 2. Welcoming stations. 3. Accountability.

Proud to be endorsed by the Sierra Club, who had this to say about me: "Few first-time candidates for any office arrive this prepared ... With the future of Bay Area transit on the same ballot, we want its most capable advocate campaigning with our full support." See my full list of endorsements at sarabarz.com.

Come door knock with me!

I have committed to all of these canvassing events with the RTM campaign because it is critical that we get the votes out to save regional transit. If you've never done it, I will be your door-knocking buddy! It's easier than you think and a great way to meet your neighbors. Event links in comments!

Proud to be endorsed by @grow_sf who had this to say about me in their voter guide: "BART's next board will spend its term on budgets, contracts, and whether riders come back. Barz has spent her career on exactly that." See my full list of endorsements at sarabarz.com.

Trying to get in those last few rides before Transit Month ends tomorrow! Luckily this morning I got to do the @sfmta_muni ➡️ @sfbayarearapidtransit ➡️ @gocaltrain shuffle. We’ve got to do something about that southbound transfer at Millbrae 🙃

Is it transit sweater season yet?

Over the weekend I had the pleasure of attending my friend @skbarz’s combination campaign kickoff / birthday celebration out at @oceanalehouse 🎂🎉

Sara is running to replace my other friend @erby who chose not to run for a third term on the board of @sfbayarearapidtransit - the Bay Area’s primary regional rail system🚇🚈🚇

There’s many reasons why I adore Sara and think you all should donate to her campaign and vote for her this November, but one of the simplest reasons is that she truly, deeply, and unapologetically cares about @sfbayarearapidtransit and wants to make it the world class system we all know it can be 💙💚

Sara brings an infectious enthusiasm to everything she does and when I worked for her campaign for @sfdemocrats board back in March 2024 she was one of my hardest working candidates who was focused on talking to as many voters as she could💪🏽

She has a magnetism, a contagious laugh, and a passion for ensuring that we build a San Francisco that we all can be proud of. Sara understands that our economy can only truly be firing on all cylinders if we have a robust and well funded transit system, and that’s why during her birthday she was also urging people to volunteer for @connectbayareatransit and @strongermuni at her own campaign event.

BART board is far down on your ballot, near the bottom, but I urge you to not forget it and to make sure you vote for Sara Barz for BART, as well as YES on RTM and Proposition H🗳️🚎🚇 taken in Ocean Ale House by @skbarz
