Over the weekend I had the pleasure of attending my friend @skbarz’s combination campaign kickoff / birthday celebration out at @oceanalehouse 🎂🎉

Sara is running to replace my other friend @erby who chose not to run for a third term on the board of @sfbayarearapidtransit - the Bay Area’s primary regional rail system🚇🚈🚇

There’s many reasons why I adore Sara and think you all should donate to her campaign and vote for her this November, but one of the simplest reasons is that she truly, deeply, and unapologetically cares about @sfbayarearapidtransit and wants to make it the world class system we all know it can be 💙💚

Sara brings an infectious enthusiasm to everything she does and when I worked for her campaign for @sfdemocrats board back in March 2024 she was one of my hardest working candidates who was focused on talking to as many voters as she could💪🏽

She has a magnetism, a contagious laugh, and a passion for ensuring that we build a San Francisco that we all can be proud of. Sara understands that our economy can only truly be firing on all cylinders if we have a robust and well funded transit system, and that’s why during her birthday she was also urging people to volunteer for @connectbayareatransit and @strongermuni at her own campaign event.

BART board is far down on your ballot, near the bottom, but I urge you to not forget it and to make sure you vote for Sara Barz for BART, as well as YES on RTM and Proposition H🗳️🚎🚇

Better late than never. Here’s a bunch of photos from the first chunk of 2026 Pride, where I attended the @alicelgbtqdems breakfast and got to support my friends Jane Natoli and @feinmentsch, the two co-chairs of Alice!

I also got to take a proper photo with our next Governor, @becerraforgovernor and ran into many other friends and folks from all over SF 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️💪🏽

Double duty for me tonight - even though there’s only a few days left in this election, two of San Francisco’s chartered Democratic clubs were celebrating their respective annual anniversaries tonight - @westsidefamilydemocrats and @sfyoungdems

I’m very proud to call many of the people in both of these clubs my friends, my neighbors and my fellow San Franciscans 🙏🏽

While we don’t always agree on everything among the many chartered clubs of San Francisco Democrats, THAT’S OKAY! It’s all about being social, and having fun and building community along the way. Politics shouldn’t be such a caustic and nasty and blood-vein-popping endeavor 🙃

We are all proud to call this city home and I’m very happy to have been able to attend both of the annual celebrations for these clubs who do such good work to build up the @sfdemocrats and bring new people into the fold of civic life!

Congratulations on your 3rd anniversary @westsidefamilydemocrats and congratulations @sfyoungdems on yet another successful and stunning #BallInBlue 🪩💃🏽🕺🏽

Proud to know all of you 💙💙💙

Now get some rest, I assume all of you will be hitting the doors tomorrow for GOTV for your preferred candidates and measures. I know I’ll be doing so 💪🏽
