POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

My new reel with some of my favourite shots and stories. Craft is a word that is very important to me. I love stories - discovering them, crafting them, and bringing them to life on camera. Understanding why each element works and its function.

Recently finished this cool CBC short doc about my friend Hannah aka @fanclubwallet. It’s all about dealing with chronic illness while navigating a career in the music industry. #ottawamusic #ottawa

Over the last few years @sklubal and me (mostly Sklubal) have been working hard on a mini documentary about touring and working as a musician with a chronic illness for @cbc. It finally came out this week and you can watch it now on YouTube or the cbc website! ♡ filmed by @jelanmaxwelldop !

There’s a lot I wanted to say in this that I didn’t get to just because of time constraints, but I hope what I did say is helpful in some way maybe. When I was diagnosed with Crohn’s in highschool I thought it was a death sentence for getting to be an artist, but I’ve learnt that I can take things at my own pace even when things get bad. Things are just getting harder and harder for artists, It’s important now more than ever to directly support your favourite artists. If you ever wanna talk chronic illness don’t be afraid to hit my line! by @sklubal

Feeling inspired after a chance meeting with Kevin Parker post Tame Impala show (May 2015 in Montreal). I came home ready to finish the first Potential Red EP, I cannot believe it’s been 10 years! by @sklubal

Thank you for everyone’s support this year. I truly appreciate you trusting me with your projects and stories. I think I really levelled up this year and I’m really proud of that. It’s also been amazing to see everyone’s success and I love being a part of a great community of artists, business owners, and storytellers. See ya in 2025 🙏✌️❤️ by @sklubal
