Sometimes we see Skool Beans through the eyes of others and we remind ourselves to appreciate the incredible location we are situated. I never wanted to be next to a busy main road with trucks and cars roaring alongside us. I chose peace, nature and a calm space for people to enjoy. It’s a little harder to find us….. but when you do… share the moment with us. You’ll find us in Vík. Iceland might look small on a map, but seeing it takes more than a Reykjavík stopover 🇮🇸 remember to be a mindful traveler when visiting.

three things we’d tell anyone planning an Iceland road trip:

1️⃣ Reykjavík works best as the bookend. spend a day or two there when you land or before you fly home, but don’t make it your entire Iceland itinerary

2️⃣ outside the capital, a car is almost necessary. the Ring Road connects much of the country, but weather changes quickly, drives take longer than they look + pulling over anywhere you want is very much not the move 🚗

3️⃣ go north. Akureyri, Mývatn, Húsavík + the Tröllaskagi peninsula deserve more than an “if you have time” mention—and offer some of the best things to do in Iceland without the South Coast crowds

Some days just turn into the most beautiful memories. 🤍🇮🇸

During our trip to Iceland, we discovered this incredible little café inside a yellow school bus, surrounded by the most breathtaking scenery.

What made this place even more special were the wonderful people we met along the way. So much laughter, so many beautiful moments and memories we’ll always look back on with a smile. 🥹

The location, the atmosphere, the people — everything about this day was simply unforgettable.

Iceland, you gave us another memory we’ll treasure forever. ✨
