To be your wife is my new favourite role 🥹🤍

(You all know I have 18 different roles/jobs/side hustles) 😅

To share a small segment from my vows…

You are my best friend, my partner in crime, and officially my forever love. Today I give you my heart and my life without any hesitation, the easiest choice I have ever made. I love you.

End of the week means a wrap up on the outfits 🥰

What’s your fav!?

PSA. Don’t have a panic attack. My stomach was not out in the last outfit, I fiddled with it during the video and didn’t realize until after filming.

Don’t get me wrong, I complain about my job A LOT.

But I LOVE creating a classroom where kids actually want to be in

I love sharing stories and giving them a space to share about their lives

I love when they are more excited to beat me to, “GOOD AFTERNOON MRS KOZUN” waving and smiling 🥹

I love when I see them actually taking notes and waiting for me to teach them more

I love when they want to come share something with me because they know I’ll care

I love when they ask for help because they know I want to and I’ll be patient

There are so many good things about my job that sometimes get overshadowed by the excessive meetings, overdue paperwork, and disciplinary items, but when I actually take a minute and SEE the difference (I think) I’m making, I can’t imagine doing anything else. by @skoz_

I just spent 4 days at a remote camp with 700 kids

It might be one of the first times I’ve seen a group:
- not on their cell phones
- dancing
- singing at the top of their lungs
- making friends with anyone who stood next to them
- excited to learn and try new things
- THANK the adults in the room
- eagerly participate

and it made me think that this is the best way to be a child. I teach high school, but these kids are still children. The difference between their generation and mine though, is that their generation didn’t get to grow up as slow as we did. instead, they had phones and tablets placed in their hands as soon as they were able to speak, they were worried about what clothes they wear and what Starbucks drink they had in hand before they even understood their own style or taste because they’ve been influenced by thousands of others online.

This generation never really got a chance to just BE kids. And I think that’s what the real issue is. by @skoz_

Another week of teacher outfits!

And just like that, September is over ☀️🍂

Not gonna lie, it’s been a whirlwind of a month. I’ve taken on the most responsibility with extra curricular I’ve ever done and it’s been exhausting… area plus moving houses, plus renos, plus teaching 3 courses I’ve never taught before, plus marking, plus trying to be a regular person.

I’m le tired.

If you can’t master a regular sleep schedule, active daily movement, and a balanced (not even tracked) diet, you have no business worrying about fasted cardio, meal timing, and the next trendy class to take.

First step is to find sustainable habits that work for you!!! 🍲🏃🏼‍♀️💦☀️ by @skoz_

A week of teacher outfits! Looking a little different with being out of town with the kids for a student leadership conference!!

Really fun trip with the kids taking them up north to where I actually grew up! They spent three days being kids, meeting other likeminded students excited about leadership, creating ideas for positive change in their schools, and learning from some amazing speakers!
