BRAND NEW UK RECORD! A massive congratulations to the entire @ukvertical team for their fantastic achievement! On Monday 31st August at @skydivelangar , 39 UK skydivers broke a vertical formation record that had stood for over a decade, organised and led by the phenomenal team of @mafull , @martinjroberson , @danguest1 , @greglucas1 and @esharp.22 This formation required 39 skydivers to exit from three separate aircraft at 14,500ft, with just 38 seconds in freefall to build a complete formation, while flying upside down and travelling at speeds of over 180mph. An unbelievably fortunate break in the clouds gave them their window, and on their 6th attempt the complete formation built successfully, just 1 second before reaching break off altitude! Everyone on this record has dedicated years to developing the skills required, as well as months of attending warm up camps building directly towards this attempt. It’s an insanely impressive feat of teamwork, technical flying skill and persistence, and we are so proud to have been able to support them along the way. It’s been amazing to watch the team work towards this all year, and to see it all come together on Monday’s record. The determination and positive energy they’ve brought to the DZ has been great, and everybody here is thrilled to see them achieve their goal. Absolutely incredible work, everybody! 🚀 Video credit- @sebastiaanhcmulder #ukrecord #skydiving #multiplane #hd#headdown taken in Skydive Langar by @skydivelangar

Following on from Boogie 2 last month, we were so proud to officially hand over £2,250 to the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance today. This charity is incredibly close to our hearts, providing critical, life saving care across our local community. @lnaact A huge thank you to all the legendary skydivers who showed up, took to the skies, and bought raffle tickets during the boogie. Also, a massive shoutout to all our amazing vendors and sponsors for donating such fantastic prizes. We couldn’t do what we do without our incredible community. #LNAA #lincsandnottsairambulance #boogie #skydiving #charity #skydivelangar #community #blueskies #ambucopter by @skydivelangar

There’s something quite surreal about the moment you exit, where it’s just open sky and big clouds. The perspective from up here never gets old. 📸 Mila Santini #clouds #skydivelangar #beauty #scenery #skydive taken in Skydive Langar by @skydivelangar

A huge congratulations to Thomas Gale and his team for an incredible performance at the recent UKSL! After applying for the Dave Hickling & Skydive Langar Bursary to help take his skydiving to the next level, Thomas joined forces with fellow Langar jumpers from the University of Nottingham Skydiving Club,Emily, Tia, and Andrew to form a brand new 4-way FS team. Their hard work and dedication paid off in a massive way on the national stage. Together, the team brought home 1st Place overall in the UKSL series, along with a Silver Medal in the 4-way FS Rookie category! We are so proud to see our bursary recipients putting their support straight into action, building strong team bonds, and representing the Langar community so brilliantly. Massive well done to Thomas, Emily, Tia, and Andrew! #skydiving #lifestyle #formationskydiving #skydiver taken in Skydive Langar by @skydivelangar
