Our 20th (!!) Valentine’s together and he still to this day makes me feel like the luckiest girl in the world. I woke up to a 3 page love letter of all the things he loves most about me (in great detail I might add haha) and all the things he dreams for our family. He’s always worked so hard to give me and the kids a life we dream of and it’s not lost on me the incredible blessing it is to have a husband like this. I am daily reminded of how wonderful and caring and loving and kind and hardworking he is. He’s everything. And I can’t wait for our forever together. ♥️

7 years ago I decided to take posting here more seriously and build something on this app that felt purposeful and fun. Somewhere I could share tidbits of my life. Somewhere I could connect with people. Somewhere I could receive recommendations + give recommendations of products that truly made a positive impact in my life. And now all those years later, I’m still staying true to that purpose for my page. I don’t recommend and link just anything. There are some things I’ve purchased and never linked because I didn’t truly stand behind them. So I want y’all to know when I do recommend something to you, I truly mean it.

And these 4 hero products of mine are no exception. I have noticed a MASSIVE improvement in my health and wellness just by these 4 products and in a short period of time. Like GAME. CHANGER. (Look at the before and afters!) And THAT is why I am so passionate about this! I have seen time after time the same results with so many others too! 🥲 They are my non-negotiables and have quickly become the same for so many lovely clients of mine too. Helping others feel their best daily in their body + come alongside them in their health goals is something that brings me SO much joy and purpose. 🥹 truly. The messages I receive from clients thanking me for introducing them to these products that have helped them in SO many ways is what really fuels me!

So I continue to share without ever any pressure on anyone! That is not my jam. 🤍 Just me sharing how and when I incorporate these products into my day to day and why I do. *not one stitch of edit/filter/makeup on any of these videos of my face!*

I look at these before videos and my heart sinks remembering how consuming and devastating that season of life was when I had uncontrollable, painful, constant acne. I had tried allllll the things with no relief and I truly felt that I was going to have to live the rest of my life with being embarrassed of my skin. I know everybody says it’s what’s on the inside that counts, and while that’s true, when you have to wear layers and layers of makeup, avoid going out in public, try to hide your face from your husband every night after you wash off your make up and have a painful acne breakouts every single day, it’s hard to exude any sliver of confidence. 😞
As a woman, I felt so defeated.
And the ONLY thing that changed it all for me was my hero drink. The green gut glow. I am such a believer in EVERY BODY is different so I can only share from my true personal experience, but this was my GAME CHANGER! Within 3 weeks I noticed a decrease in my acne. Within 3 months it was completely gone!!!!!!! I literally could have cried. I finally found something that helped and I’ve found my confidence again. And so I share in hopes to help others who are experiencing the same devastating struggles I did. It can be a lonely and defeating path to walk (as a male or female!!) and if this post even helps ONE person get their hands on these products and clears their skin like it did mine, then sharing these vulnerable before photos makes it ALL worth it!!! Do I love showing the videos I was taking to show my doctor and posting it online for thousands to see? Hahah heck no!! But I wish I had heard of this product sooner so my journey to clear skin wasn’t as long! so I share now to help others! 🤍

When I found out I was pregnant with Hallie, we had a 2 month old Noa, 18 month old Georgia + 4 year old sawyer. The idea of welcoming another child in just 9 short months felt overwhelming to say the least. I was already juggling 3 kids under 5 and soon enough would have 4 kids 5+ under.

But God knew she was EXACTLY what our family needed. With the busyness + chaos of life during my pregnancy with her, settling on a name was not on the top of my to-do list. Until the day she was born.

I knew she was going to be Hallie. I’ve always loved that name. But the middle name we were stumped. Until it literally just popped into my head. JOY. and that was it. We felt so strongly that would be her middle name because through my pregnancy with her was a lot of feelings of overwhelm and nervousness that I could handle 4 small children in such a short amount of time, the moment she was born every doubt + every fear just vanished and the ONLY thing I felt was pure JOY.

God knew I needed Hallie in my life. God also knew her middle name was to be Joy and that every day she would live that Joy out with every infectious giggle, every “mum, I just love you so much” said completely out of nowhere + every slow hug with a gentle back rub (she’s the best at hugs!!).

Nothing sweeter than quietly reading my devotions in our sunroom and her tiny little body snuggles up with mine and she says “mumma, can I read the bible with you too?” 🥹 and hearing her little voice speak out loud the words of Jesus made my mumma heart burst 🥹🤍

But for real, the amount of PURE JOY it brings me to hand feed my piggies, sheep, donkey and chickens is just unmatched. 🥹 I will 100% bring home leftover scraps from a restaurant just so it doesn’t go to waste (a biiiig pet peeve of mine ever since my travels to Africa) and bonus points : my animals get some treats! 🫶🏼
God knew I needed a hobby farm because when my stress levels are high, I retreat to the barn and just love on my animals and somehow the pure nature of caring for them just feels like a big breathe of fresh air. by @skye_schutte

Sometimes you just need a one-on-one day with your mumma. 🫶🏼🤍 (and let’s be honest, I needed a day like this too with her!)

A little break from the routine, a trip to the salon, some girl time, and a whole lot of talking and laughing.

School will be there tomorrow. The homework can wait. But these little days together, while she still wants to spend them with me, are the ones I never want to take for granted. And it’s already flying by too fast. 🥲

Rainy days have me reminiscing about summer weekends I never got around to sharing. 🤍

Duane and I snuck away for a quick trip to Osoyoos this summer and stayed at the lovely @walnutbeachresort. We wine tasted at @lakesidecellars, golfed at @sonoradunesgolfcourse at @spiritridgebc, and spent our evening sipping wine + playing cards as the sun went down while chatting about all the things. It was the perfect getaway just us two. 🥹🫶🏼

It was simple, slow, and exactly what we needed.
