Community Darkroom Update! 🔥🎞️

Things have been slow and steady at Skylark Studios, but there has been some good progress! The darkroom sink has now been built and fully installed, just needs to be sealed and painted then it’ll be good to go.

This means ultimately that space can be open sooner than later, which I will of course let you all know when it’s likely to be open to the public.

I want to say a huge thank you for everyone’s patience regarding processing orders and scanning while this is being set up. In all honesty it has been difficult balancing essentially two full time jobs while also setting up this space, but I am hoping that Skylark can become my full time job in the near future!

Which is why I appreciate anyone who supports their local lab, it’s means much more than you expect!

More updates to follow!! 🔥

Why do mountains look SO good on film? 🙌⛰️📸

A few of our shots from our recent trip to the Lakes and they honestly turned out way better than we expected!

There’s something so special about capturing the mountains on film and not seeing the results until you get them developed.

It’s something completely new for us, but we’re already hooked and can’t wait to take the camera along on all our future adventures.

Really excited to announce that Skylark Studios has an official space!! 🎉

Everything has slowly been morphing into shape over the last couple of months. Currently in the last stages of setting up the community darkroom and scanning area. I must admit that things have been quiet on here for a while, but rest assured that I have been working hard in the background to keep up with orders whilst setting up this space.

Very excited to have this physical space open and running for everyone! 🙌

Thank you to everyone for your support and patience with this little lab, exciting times lay ahead!

More details and photos to follow in the next week, stay tuned!
