Why do mountains look SO good on film? 🙌⛰️📸

A few of our shots from our recent trip to the Lakes and they honestly turned out way better than we expected!

There’s something so special about capturing the mountains on film and not seeing the results until you get them developed.

It’s something completely new for us, but we’re already hooked and can’t wait to take the camera along on all our future adventures.

This week’s film is Harman Phoenix 200, an experimental stock made in 2023. It’s known for its high saturation and pops of colour. We love it for its strong halation effect and unique look.

A firm favourite here in Guildford.

my first film roll, shot on my Minolta XG1 from 1977.

I can’t quite believe that this little camera is almost 50 years old! Having found it in my wardrobe a week before Graduate Fashion Week I thought I’d give film a go, there’s lots of improvement to be made but I had so much fun taking these images and learning how to use film.
