My first wall sculpture! I’m excited to share this piece with everyone. It’s on exhibit in the Gallery of Contemporary Mosaics show Class Act. A juried show comprised of students works from the Chicago Mosaic School. I made this piece in Pamela Irving’s Picassiette workshop. Which I absolutely adored. It gave me such freedom to create and I learned so much about my process.
I used porcelain flowers and eyes that I handmade. The rest is assembled from found objects, smalti glass, and stained glass. It is about 12”x12”.
