The Tomato Clownfish (Amphiprion frenatus) is a territorial anemonefish found on Indo-Pacific reefs. Adults are deep red to orange with a single white head bar and a distinctive cheek spine, living in close association with host anemones for protection and shelter.

False Clownfish (Amphiprion ocellaris) sheltering within a Bubble-tip Anemone (Entacmaea quadricolor).

This clown fish lacks the backward “hook” on the middle white bar that distinguishes true percula clownfish, confirming A. ocellaris. The anemone’s inflated, bulb-shaped tentacle tips are characteristic of E. quadricolor, a common Indo-Pacific host species.
