Pia Hinz was born in 1994 in Dortmund (Germany). She lives and works between Amsterdam, Arles (France), and Viviers (France).

Pia Hinz’ work is a blend of sculptural installations and luminous paintings, combining diverse techniques and exhibition formats. Often space-specific, the artist’s work is meant to be understood as a reaction to its surroundings, architecture, and specific situation. Through an assembling of glass pieces and colour, she shapes interactions and behaviour of the exhibition space, giving it a new perspective. Her works featured on Slash are glass sculptures of a hammer and screws: fragile forms of objects meant to be solid.

Tobias Molitor was born in 1986 in Cologne (Germany). He lives and works in Berlin.

He is a multidisciplinary artist and conceptual screen printer. His works explore everyday products and fast-moving consumer goods that often receive little attention. His oeuvre consists of ordinary objects with graphic elements that reflect the cultural context and 'Zeitgeist'. His works address themes such as cultural identity, mass production and consumption, souvenirs and collecting.

Elsa Werth was born in 1985 in Paris, where she lives and works.

She is engaged in a multidimensional practice: installation, sculpture, video, artist's book, and sound. Through an economy of means, she claims non-spectacular gestures as resistance tactics. She diverts words, objects, and gestures from their common use. Her approach counters commodity production and challenges normalised information, questioning the criteria for works of art to exist in an environment where representations are standardised. Elsa Werth received the Humankind Leo Burnett Prize in 2013 and the Fondation d’entreprise Pernod Ricard Prize for contemporary art in 2022.

Markus Jäntti was born in 1994 in Hyvinkää (Finland). He lives and works between Berlin and Espoo (Finland).

In his artistic practice, he explores the themes of outsiderness, the generativity of endless visual stimuli, and the intersection of high and pop culture. In his paintings and prints, Markus Jäntti’s composition is loose and his subjects are composed of fragments. They move fluidly between pop art, naivism, and contemporary expressionism, building interesting visual bridges. His fragmented horses and bodies are deeply nostalgic, conjuring memories of souvenirs, small figurines, and childhood toys.

Lilia Kovka was born in 1982 in Bishkek. She lives and works in Berlin.

Her work focuses on psychological and sociological observations and their transformation into physical space. She creates subtle, layered works in which signs and symbols occupy skin, disappear on gravestones, or become woven into nightwear. Her conceptual approach extends into sculptural work in ceramics. She is interested in the relationship between human and material, deliberately withdrawing her own presence to allow space for the ceramic’s inherent dynamics.

Lilia Kovka's series "I simply am not there" consists of discarded beauty masks transformed into amorphous, grotesque forms. Produced in ceramics, the masks do not hide or represent a face but rather embody the spectrum of human expression. The series is inspired by the film "American Psycho" (2000). In a key scene, Patrick Bateman’s morning routine reveals his sense of emptiness. These ceramic masks become soulless shells, exploring themes of hidden truths and complex emotions.

Lili Simon was born in 1980 in Mulhouse (France). She lives and works in Toulouse (France).

After studying at the Beaux-Arts in Toulouse, where she developed a strong interest in drawing, ink work, and the appropriation of images. Fascinated by the iconography of the early twentieth century, she collects and reinterprets visual material drawn from magazines, encyclopedias, and vintage prints, transforming them through subtle shifts that often introduce humor, irony, or a sense of the absurd. In 2025, this process led to the project "Small Fellas". The series emerged from a certain weariness, a fatigue with the overrepresentation of the female body in art. By inserting male bodies borrowed from advertising imagery into these canvases, Lili Simon playfully subverts both the conventions of art history and the domestic tradition of needlework.

Hélène Hulak was born in 1990 in Paris. She lives and works between Paris and Lyon (France).

She creates installations that merge painting, sculpture, textiles, and video. Her work overturns capitalist representations of femininity through a devouring and incisive aesthetic, marked by saturated colours, grotesque silhouettes, and exaggerated bodies. By appropriating craft techniques such as quilting and knitting, she alters their scale, rhythm, and function, transforming them into critical, expressive languages.
