Another successful activation in the books 🙌🏽✨ This time Emory Healthcare partnered with LOVB and took over Gateway Center Arena where they debuted a brand new concept created with Ideas United for Emory Healthcare! Seeing people stop, engage, and really connect with the experience was everything. The foot traffic definitely showed up 👏🏽. I’m proud to have served as the Event Manager overseeing event coordination pre-event, onsite, and post event. Major shoutout to our incredible Brand Ambassadors for keeping things running smoothly and educating attendees on women’s health + sports recovery 💪🏽. And quick question… did y’all know Atlanta has a volleyball team?! 👀 Atlanta is one of 6 teams under the League One Volleyball (LOVB) league🔥! JANUARY 2026. I’ve struggled to make this post for a lot of reasons. • I haven’t had the time. • I couldn’t quite figure out how to explain how I even ended up here because it still feels unreal. • I didn’t know how to capture all of the work in one post. • And if I’m honest… I don’t think I’ve ever truly given myself credit for the years I’ve put into networking, building, learning, pivoting, and sharpening my skills in corporate marketing and production. But here’s what I do know: 💪🏾 It pays to show up. 💪🏾 It pays to stay ready. 💪🏾 It pays to build the skill before the spotlight. January looked a little like this … ✨ A new contract for me and my company with Ideas United ✨ Collaborating with Ideas United as the Event Manager for Emory Healthcare sports activations ✨ Producing and managing multiple sporting event activations across Atlanta ✨ Placing incredible brand ambassadors throughout the city at the Aurora Portals, 4 beautiful art installations around Atlanta merging art + healthcare in celebration of Emory Healthcare’s new rebrand To see marketing, art, live production, healthcare, and branding all intersect in one experience? It’s wild. It’s affirming. It feels aligned. The little girl from Cincinnati who loved the arts. The Clark Atlanta marketing student. The corporate email automation manager. The professional cheerleader. The production girl. She’s all in the room. I’m overwhelmed. I’m stretched. I’m grateful 🥹🙏🏾🙌🏾. COMMUNITY means so much to me. It’s the foundation that helped me thrive in corporate and continues to lift me in entrepreneurship. In 2025, I committed to leaning deeper into production, choosing alignment over ease, saying no to work that felt safer but didn’t stretch me, and pouring into relationships that supported my pivot. A huge part of that growth this year came through Beyond Castings and Productions and the educational and mentorship program The Production Roadmap (TPR), founded by Princess Elemba! For over a decade, I admired Princess from afar. Back when I worked in talent, her name would come up often for dance opportunities, and I crossed paths with her headshot countless times. She has built something most creatives only dream of and proved in real time that upward momentum in both dance and the business behind it was possible. This year, I had the honor of becoming one of the TPR mentees, working under Beyond Castings and Productions on set, and gaining friendships and connections I can lean on for life. Producing the final Production Roadmap for 2025 was the sweetest full circle moment - see pics. THANK YOU to this community for embracing me, teaching me, and trusting me this year. Grateful is an understatement 🙌🏾. BRANDING is so much more than a logo; it’s storytelling, emotion, and energy. It’s how you make people feel! Last month, my team at Slate 32 Events had the amazing opportunity to partner with WisKnol (the Christian card game company combining entertainment, fellowship, and learning)to produce their pitch video … and wow, what a journey! From concept to script revisions to final cut, we focused on helping them show up with clarity and confidence, blending who they are with where they’re going. I love projects like this because they remind me that great branding isn’t about perfection - it’s about alignment. When your message, visuals, and presence all speak the same language, your audience can’t help but to lean in. 📣 TONIGHT, THE PRODUCTION ROADMAP IS BACK! 📣 I’m so excited to produce the 4th & final Production Roadmap Workshop of 2025 at The Gathering Spot with powerhouse speakers Princess Elemba, Aneesah Bray, Jesseca Harris-Dupart & Derek Blanks. SWIPE ➡️ for the journey … From our very first walkthrough in April, to a sold-out mixer, to 3 packed workshops, this has been an amazing ride. Beyond being honored to help produce these events, I’ve gained so much knowledge just being in the room with so many trailblazers.
